Just a thought Janie....you could always put boiling water on them for now?
Weeds that is...not daughter
Garden’s too big for that. It was all cleared and ready to go so I thought. Where a multi trunked tree was removed I have a lot of it’s little saplings growing from the roots.
Perhaps I’ll try and upload a piccy.

Artnoon all. Funny old day - weatherwise.
We've had heavy rain, thunder and lightning and hail. April 4th always has strange weather. Its the day I was married x years ago. The 4th of the 4th at 4 - to make it easy for us to remember in case one of us forgot all about it. I went into the church in the sunshine, when I came out it was snowing just a bit. Won't last thought I.
The following morning, when we started our suitcase laden trek from the hotel to the train station, the world had turned white. My stoopid going away shoes were useless in the snow and I slid and slithered my way down the road. Gave us a good laugh afterwards though
The sun always shone on us after that!!
Hi Guys - Update on my injury and treatment - Last day of IV mainly because I have developed an allergic reaction to it about half an hour after having the treatment today. So antihistamines to reduce red swelling that's now mainly on my arms legs and less on my body so far. A 7 day course of more antibiotic tablets that I have not tried yet, Blood test next Tuesday and see the AEU Doctor next Wednesday unless it gets worse again like last weekend then back to AEU.

Afternoon (pre-evening) all. Bright and sunny still here, but the frost this morning was one of the hardest all winter. Went to visit a friend maybe 2 km away. He showed me his trees all in blossom and his irises in flower. Not a hint of frost there, apparently. Green with envy, moi? Frankly, yes.
Anyway, supposed to get a bit more rain for a few days, starting tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Have a lovely evening, everyone.
Edited to add: lovely story that, VC. And definitely not such a lovely story, Cadalot. Hope you see some improvement soon.
Mornings!

A dank day indeed, just 7 at the moment but still a plotting day. My job today is to remove as many hiding places I can find on plot number 3, lots of piles of rotting wood and cubic metre bags, a rats playground!

As for here, chilly, dampish, but no rain to speak of. Feeling very discombobulated and worried about the future. But have just ordered a load more irrigation tube, so that has cheered me up. Still too perishing cold to do much in the garden, though.
