Mornin n'alln'all
Headed off yesterday to the Vide Grenier only to find it had been cancelled!..pah...they are a great source of cheap jam jars and crafting material!
Seed and plant swap was a great success and the sun shone throughout.
Many more children came along too which was lovely (we had activities for them to do and prizes)
An exhausting day, but we have many more volunteers for next time!
Couldn't have asked for better!
Quiet day for me today once the trailer is unpacked and put away.
Enjoy your day peeps...Hibou says hello"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

^Sounds like you had a lovely day despite the vide grenier being cancelled.
All of a kerfuffle today. Could do with a get-up-and-go supplement pill today. The fact that it's wall to wall work today isn't very encouraging. Still, soonest startest, soonest ended. Not quite right, I know, but it seems appropriate.
Anyway, catch you later, guys. Meanwhile, have a good one.

Morning all! Not had the best of weeks last week what with one thing or another but hopefully this week will be better.
I've decided I'm going to have a selfish morning and do what I want to do for a change as it's really bothering me that I can't get on with my gardening/growing plans. Since the weather is still very unkind here, I'm heading to the spare bedroom with some seeds, compost, pots and a very long tray. I may come out afterwards, I may not. I'll see how I feel.
I hope this is the start of a kind week for you all.
Off to try to catch up a wee bit now........

Mornings!
Mild night here as well, so I've taken the tommies and peppers out to the greenhouse already. Door is ajar as Mollycat's darting in and out, must be fun outside now it's dried up a bit
Need to hoover round first, after that probs some garden weeding - would be nice to be able to see flowers instead of weeds *blush*
Have a good'un

Good day, cold this morning but did a wee bit work in the greenhouse and also discovered why my marigold seeds weren't showing, found a couple of small snails in the propagating bench, so now scattered some pellets, hope that stops them, I also washed the car, still need to work on this as OH usually complains about the dirt on it, so I think if it is annoying her she should wash it, but she doesn't agree especially if I want my tea tonightLast edited by rary; 08-04-2019, 12:09 PM.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Afternoon all. Hadn't been on for a day or three so yesterday when I did get a chance to look in I marked the forums as read . Goodness knows where the time goes but Care home visiting certainly eats it up.
My greenhouses are creaking at the seams and that's because I've got heaps of stuff started off early for the NVS Championships at the New Forest Show at the end of July. Pah!! I'm angry about the Championships being so early but I'd need a week on the rant page to get that out of my system.
Anyway, one of the few things that I have a chance of entering is the Cauliflower class. They are a B@@@@er to get the timing right with so I normally do three sowings over a 3 week period. As I have other later shows, I need an extra couple of sowings to cover them so that's even more bench space. Pah and more Pah.
Anyway. enough of my grumps. Enjoy your day.

Mornin Flon'all
Book club for me this morning followed by food shopping. It's best to go at lunchtime as the shops which are open tend to have very few customers! (Peeps tend to eat at home as a family here at midday...nipping home from school or work)
The other upside to food shopping is that the best artisan bakery is nearby and they have cripoissants to die for! Those old fashioned flakey crispy ones on the outside and really, really silky buttery in the middle. Very hard to find like that these days.
Mmmm....what diet? eat 'em whilst ya can eh?
Right...back on cat duty again....12 cats for the next few days...good to help peeps out when you can.
See ya later!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
