Always not enough storage - you can never have to much craft stuff! At the mo most of mine is spread over the dining room table and chairs - just the seat cushion to cover and the chair will be finished. Fingers crossed it goes to plan!
    Have a good'un

Too windy today for outside stuff, although the sun is shining

    • Work is under control!! I rarely get to say that, hence the two exclamation marks.

So, the idea is I do a bit of the paid stuff today and a bit of the play stuff later.

Mr Snoop has gone off the idea of a tractor since I mentioned the baler. He thinks haymaking is a waste of time. Probably right, but people have stopped making the small bales, and no way can I get one of the big ones here. Not even sure I could pay someone to bring one for that matter. Anyway, I can't realistically see myself tying bales up with string, whatever Rary might think. I'm not in denial - my moyen âge is pretty well behind me, I reckon.

Time to get going if I want to play.

Have a great day everyone, whether you're sorting cars, mice, roots or whatever.

      • Morning everyone
This sounds smug, but my craft room is really tidy.
My shoes in the wardrobe? That’s another story, and my job of the day.
I’d like to think I’d donate some, fingers crossed.
I can do it with clothes and other objects, but shoes, that’s another story.
        Wish me luck
Suns out, sky’s blue, flipping freezing
        Have a nice day peeps

            • Morning we have cold but not frosty for a change, been to the Doc's this morning as I failed my MOT when I went for my pre operation examination, blood pressures a bit high but not enough to stop the operation going ahead. Should be on Monday, keyhole removal of a troublesome Gall Bladder, should be home the same day they tell me, saves taking up bed space.

                    • OK, so I did a bit of work and a bit of garden preparation. But mostly I wasted time buying seeds... As if I needed more. But I've been hankering after growing these particular purple carrots for a bit. Honest.

Plus, I spotted a red kite. Unbelievable. No picture I'm afraid. Apparently migrates over our area, so unlikely to stay put. Shame. Possibly a once-in-a-lifetime spot.

                      • Evening all.

Gorgeous day here and I was able to tackle a problem with a light on my trailer. I'd already rewired the rear lights and installed led lights but I was left with a side marker light not working. Today, I removed the socket on the trailer and fittted a new one whilst at the same time wiring the two side marker lights together. Put it all together and b*gg***tion the damned light still didn't work. . A quick rake in the shed for a bit of cable and replaced the existing to the faulty light. Joy of joys, it now works .

There was a shower which disturbed the trailer repair but I ducked into the greenhouse and potted on some pot leeks (into airpots). I found watering leeks in airpots problematic last time I used them so today I fitted wicks made from strips of capillary matting. Hopefully that will help.
