      • Good morning all.
Another lovely sunny morning here with temp at 7 degs.
Must go into town this morning for a few items we need.
Hopefully I will get out to the garden in the afternoon.
        Have a good day all.

Having wiggled my way onto the Vine...here I am.

Very frosty start again -going to be a stonka today..yipppeee! It nearly reached 17C yesterday
The poor plants don't know what to do...bet the wildlife must be a tad confused too!
                  I certainly am

The next few days are hopefully concentrating on sewing and gardening .
Maybe a tad of domestic chores too.

Toast this morning...can ya smell it?...tis such a homely smell isn't it? Mmm...

                  Kettle's on -help yourselves.

It wasn't as cold last night, but not warming up this morning as the fog is only slowly clearing.Hoping to get to the plot later, if it improves.

                    • Couldn’t get into the Vine anyways until now. It flashed on and immediately off again. I could see there was information but wasn’t given time to read it. I hadn’t thought to change the date. I’ll remember that trick for future reference.

Breast screening today. I’m part of of a research trial for people over the usual age. They’ve just rung and changed the time to 3 hrs earlier. Suits me. I’ve joined 3 different trials. I believe in research.

Time to go and tackle they saplings before they get any bigger and start to have foliage.

Played pitch and putt this afternoon even though it was very breezy.
Noticing the evenings getting so much brighter.

                            • Evening all. Lovely day here today and I managed several hours at my plot. My new azada really is a super tool. I managed to skim the weed growth off a large area and also got the bed at the side of my tunnel forked over ready for planting. Caught another mouse in my tunnel. My pal caught two in his shed today as well. our beetroot was ruined with the little blighters the last two years so the more eliminated the better.

Was a good day for a bonfire again but the wind was changeable and the neighbouring houses must have shared my smoke. I do try not to burn when the wind is blowing towards the houses but it can be difficult when the wind direction changes.

I'm rapidly getting to the stage of being ready to plant some onions.

Wow...no frost!...all the better for getting into the garden earlier.
                                (Warm weather gardener?...moi?)

Only plans for today are sewing and gardening. OH is making a casserole later on, so I'm excused domestic duties for today.
What's everyone else up to?...making the most of the warmer weather?

Just made a brew...stewed apples(own) with blueberries and live yog for breakfast served with a frosting of porridge oats
I do actually fancy a bacon butty with a dribbley egg or oatcakes served with lashings of butter and maple syrup....pah!

See ya later peeps-enjoy your day whatever you get up to
