  • Good evening, managed to get my wee bit of work done earlier, which just reminds me I have something else to do, will be back on shortly, (had to go out and put my onion sets back into the greenhouse), I have three large growbags which I should have emptied into my raised bed in the greenhouse, so now have been emptied one and mixed it through the bed, don't know if I've will add the other 2, also covered one of the new beds with a sun tunnel and once the soil heats up a bit I will sow some salad leaves, well need to go OH wants to watch a program on TV Baptiste I think and I like that one so off to watch it

    • Talk about the ups-and-downs of climate change. Locally things are mad: there's a frost outside and a mosquito in the kitchen (was - it's now a dead mosquito).

Anyway, morning all. Busy work day ahead. Hope you're all doing well, especially Flo. Missing your friendly face first thing.

      Have a great day.

        • Mornings!
Bright and sunny start today - lovely. More physio for me this morning so I'll see how I feel later, whether I get gardening or not this afternoon..

          • Good morning all.
            Wet and grey here.
No idea what today will bring so playing it by ear,
            Have a good day all.

              • Good morning, had to scrape the ice of the windscreen this morning before going up to watch the b, ys, dropped them off at school and once back home decided to disinfect the bird feeder, and while doing that I got wet as the rain came on rather heavy, apparently some years ago if you got frost in the morning you could expect it to stay dry for a good part of the day, I am not sure if that is true I suppose VC could let us know about that she would be about in those days, no matter the weather enjoy your day

                • Afternoon!

Been a busy morning for me today, no rain thankfully so I've been out sorting out the old shed a bit. Originally I was going to bin it as it's not in great nick and it's used to store stuff I should really be getting rid off. Then when I was in it I kinda felt it would make a nice potting shed. it has electricity and I could see myself pottering about in it. So I stopped for some lunch and to mull.

Hope you are all having the kind of day you were wanting.

                        • After a wet start the day picked up.
Not much done in the garden.
Watered my salad leaves and sweetpeas in the greenhouse.
Watered and fed my tomatoes in the conservatory.
9 out of the 13 dahlia tubers I bought in Lidl have started into growth.
I have ear marked a spot in the front garden to plant them out hen the time comes....I have a vision.

I'm still really sore after my physio, she moved things I don't think have ever moved, and added more exercises to my list. *sigh*
There's high patchy cloud this morning and quite a breeze, so at most it'll be some greenhouse pottering for me today.

                            • We have a nice if somewhat breezy day, so might manage a gentle walk round the field path later, sleet and snow forecast for tomorrow, oh joy
