Afternoon, all. Big black clouds, a couple of claps of thunder and a single drop of rain. Bah!

Other than that, all good. Trying to clear work before visitors this weekend. But all a bit tedious, so finding it hard to get the oomph for it.

Not sure is 5.30ish is classed as late afternoon or early evening so I'll just wave at you instead of saying afternoon/evening.

I kinda feel 5pm is late aftenoon and 6ish onwards is early evening but 5.30 has me stumped.

Haven't really had time to read & catch up although I did manage to get a wee rant in earlier.

Good morning, the holiday is over and we are up watching the boys, who are still in bed and with a bit of luck will sleep till about five when the can get up and have their tea just before their mum and dad come home from work
I will need to go home for a bit as I have a lot of potting on to do, I bought some wave petunias which were delivered while I was away, I also had sown some wave petunia seeds which of course are also ready to pot on, quite sure that the wouldn't have germinated if I hadn't bought some, but at the moment as the boys are sleeping and things are quiet I feel the need to inspect the inside of my eyelids. Enjoy your day

Meant to add while away I bought some ocas to try, I have never tried these nor know anyone who has tried them about here, so will be interesting to see how they do

Very calm this morning, grey and drizzly - but forecast was for snow showers too mild for that though Anyone else think that forecasts are getting worse instead of better, considering all the money spent on technology?

Dentist for check-up later and then meeting daughter for coffee n cake after..

Cloudy here today, but rain seems unlikely if our forecast is to be believed.

Trying to get on with work but constantly distracted at the moment. Spending far too long surfing the web, which isn't helping at all. So, nose to the grindstone today.

Had a busy day planned but it's suddenly changed and I have a day to myself (i.e. No fixed time limits to get things done!)

So....a pottering day ahead...plus a trip to town to see if I can replace a garden table parasol which we discovered has been badly chewed by mice. Hmmm...be interesting to see what else I come home with

Have fun at the dentists Thelma -remember to ask for your 'I've been a brave girl 'badge when you leave!
