Good after noon all,what a hot weekend,mainly chilled out,yesterday we had a picnic with son down the lottie,we have a furry house guest for a few days,he is so good,and entertaining,most off the toms are now potted on,things do seem to be taking forever to germinate,and longer to grow up,looks like i have lost most of the butternuts,wonders if i gave them to much water.
hope you have all enjoyed the weekend,Snoop we need some of your rain please,nightime only though,Bgood2yrselves.

Wow!...another fantastic day weatherwise here too.
Rain forecast tomorrow so OH is walking off his lunch by chasing the lawnmower around the field!

This weather has been a real bonus hasn’t it? I don’t sit in the sun, but like to potter about out there.
Hubby has been playing with the lawn, it does look nice.
Dahlia tubers are up, they will be a first for me.

Out of interest...who's bright idea was is to choose a rose and St George to represent England?
I do not have one rose anywhere near flowering....
Either change the flower to Lilac or change the date to later in the year when we can pick roses to celebrate

Mrs Mop Day with some gardening for me....but first starting off with some ironing.

Tis the countdown to next week's start of the Big Diet ....sort of looking forward to it now!
A good mindset for reducing a tad and stocking up with the basics and giving away/freezing anything which might be tempting! (*sobs)... see...not quite ready yet

I've also booked a day to take loads of things to a charity shop miles away. It's a fantastic animal charity and they are too few of them around ....
So that's me starting my cupboard sorting again!
So glad we have those threads to refer back to...I only got as far as C as I recall

I'm obviously not in the mood for doing much after yesterday, but need to plant (or pot up) the new strawberry plants, at least.
