Morning, a proper cool and damp day up here today, not yet the storm winds, but the garden will be all the better for this rain. I have some potting on to do, but it might be left until the weather is kinder.

Bright outdoors and the ground is just perfect for weeding. Better get a move on and finish my paid work: the sooner it's done, the quicker I can be outside.

Good morning all.
Late on parade, ferrying the GG to and fro has taken up most of my time this week.
No rain, it passed during the night, but a breezy , kinda sunny day.
Busy day ahead with GG on stage tonight and rehearsal this afternoon.
Ah well, her parents are home tomorrow and no doubt we will miss her.

Quite breezy this morning although I wouldnt call it strong.

Over the plots for a spot of digging and clearing of the new plot. For those that have the wind to contend with..stay safe

happy tea time time all,how the weather has changed,felt cold enough to snow today,hopes them not well are feeling better,and where IS the time going to,niped to plot this morning to water inside the poly and zip it up,what a transformation in 6 days,spuds and carrots are just showing,everything looks nice and healthy,i must now give some more time to home plot,i have a feeling that this season will fly past before we know it,have a good evening and Bgood2yrselves,that includes you cad.

good evening, just catching up with earlier posts as i have been a bit busy in the garden and the greenhouse, i note that yesterday Nicos was quite excited celebrating her sons birthday, i suppose at a certain age these things are appreciated
It has been a wet day today with some heavy showers, but we went out for lunch as I needed to buy some bird feeding, and on that, I need to find an other feeding point as I don't like the birds feeding at the same spot all the time, once back home i was in the greenhouse potting on some seedlings, then once the rain was off i was out looking for some dandelion leaves as i want to put some in beside the comfrey, but as its my garden there are very few weeds about perhaps i should get VC to drop some off when she is flying past this area (she bound to have some dandelions in her garden) Well off to see what I will get into bother for now as it must be 2 hrs since I did something wrong. Goodnight

Good night all.
Just back home from collecting the stage struck GG from her stage show.
Her mam and dad will come and collect her tomorrow.
While I wont miss the pace of keeping up with her schedule I will miss her company.
She will be back at school on Monday and we will be back to humdrum.
Such is life.

...and it's Sunday!....nothing specific planned today, but I'm really hoping to get some gardening done today.
It's not raining at the moment , so that's a good start!
Diet starts tomorrow...eeek!

Very, very bright here today. Would love to be out in the garden, but there's an agricultural fair going on nearby, so will be off to that to show my face.

Had a great day yesterday. Struggled with some work yesterday but interspersed it with some weeding. Patch I did looks fantastic. Night-time temps still very cold though. No frost, but not far off. Anyway, there was nothing like getting my beans out for the bean thread to get me all excited again. Mr Snoop getting very bored of the conversation. Only thing he's really interested in is Brussels sprouts!

Still quite breezy here and coolish - a day for greenhouse work it seems. If I earth up the potato pots they can move outside now, I think. That'll free up some room

Certainly a little cooler than last weekend but it's dry. 11° at present and quite still. I shall be off over the plots soon, well after a bacon sandwich
