  • Another day of work madness stretches ahead. But then it's part-time starting next week. So long as I can say no...

Very bright at the moment and due to be warm again. Dogs jolly as the door is left open at night now it's warm enough, so they get to be outside at night too. Not too much barking at potential invaders, but just wait till the cicadas come on song.

Congrats on the dieting, Nicos. Am hoping that next week, when I'm better organised, I'll be able to join you.

    Have a great Friday everyone.

    • Good morning all.
Finally, the sun is shining, the rain is gone but I have to go into town so no gardening for me until this evening.
Cant believe it's the weekend already, the time are flying by.
      Have a good day all.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

      • Mornings!
Bright patches this morning, but the garden is sodden - I was hoping to cut the grass, but no chance of that today. 9C overnight in the greenhouse so toms ok, peppers out there now, as well.
Got my scruffs on for some more painting while I'm in the mood

        Have a good'un

          • Good afternoon it has been a reasonable day today, cloud with occasional sun, have been doing a bit of weeding and tidying up, OH asked me to pressure wash the steps for her, then complained about water hitting the windows now wondering if it's a woman thing or just a wife thing out for a walk this morning and my friend asked what was my definition of brexit, so I told him, his definition was "When a heavy burd sits doon on a chair she breks it" his definition was a good bit shorter than mine

            • What a beautiful day. I'm alive and going to stay that way for now. I spent the morning catching up with admin, paying bills, filling in forms etc. All the stuff I've ignored since I was diagnosed 12 weeks ago. I went out to post the results of some of my admin and to buy milk and thought "sod it" i'm going for my usual Friday drink in the pub.

I've changed the time I take my "keeping me alive" pill from the morning to just before I go to bed. I'm fine for about an hour, then it kicks in and my head is woo woo and I ache all over. It wears off over the day. I decided I would prefer the woo woo time to be when I'm asleep.

I've bought plants and I need to see to them. The heart is willing but the body isn't working. 12 weeks ago I felt absolutely fine but was ill. Now they are mending me and I feel awful.

                        • So, a whole weekend stretches ahead of me. Brilliant. Off out with Mr Snoop this morning to see the big wide world. I've just realised it's getting on for three weeks since I last went out.

Then gardening and an afternoon nap calls.

                          Have a great day, everyone.

Cold and wet here, overnight, and looks like more rain for today with a very grey sky. Oh well, that means more painting and longer grass.
