Cuppa time here as well

We didn't get any rain, so we're still very humid, but we have some sunny bits as well today. Still got the storm forecast so who knows?
Domestics need doing and the garden also needs weeding, so have jobs to do whatever the weather decides haha.

Just back from the allotment. I think i manage to save them all. Guy on next plot gave me some tomatoes coz of what happened and he said he will water every morning for me while i am on nights.

I best get some sleep as i have be up again in 6hrs to get ready for work again.

Morning all,very weird weather eh,got the final coat on the wood work,it does look nice,well worth it,the hall is next when the mood takes over,what bothers me a bit is MR,rubbing up against the wet door frames,oooh eer,could think about painting last thing at night,when he gone to bed,thats 10 door frames,it can go on the back burner for now,coffee and cake ,just drop in,we are said to exspect hot weather ,am dreading it,

Noon All! When I started typing this it was 12 exactly so not morning and not afternoon.

Wet and horrible here. Did the stupid thing of tidying and hoovering, then I bathed the dog. I then had to hoover all over again, his hair just flies off him and sticks to everything in it's wake.

About to head off and pick up daughter and boyfriend. Haven't met him before and the pair of them are staying for a few days. Happy to have them both but daughter only just casually mentioned in the passing last night that he smokes. I'm an ex smoker, I stopped for the final time when I was 24, so that's a couple of years ago now. *cough* I have a strict no smoking house so I hope the rain lets up otherwise boyfriend will be getting very wet everytime he wants a puff.

Good news on the lotty Carrie, nice of someone to offer to help, hope he keeps his word.

Having just goooogled to check it was a weasel and not a stoat

and the classic way of deciding which is which? A weasel is weasily identified and a stoat is stotally different

Afternoon all. Weather awful with persistent rain but not the awful storm that was forecast. It's kept me inside at any rate and I've been able to catch up on a few things in the house. I could have gone to my plot and worked in my polytunnel but it's no pleasure when the rain id drumming off the plastic cover.

It will be better tomorrow won't it ?

Busy day for me.
Football game with my son's team this morning and then onto a soccer match for my daughter. They both won their matches which equals ice cream when looked at in a mathematical equation I was told

Will have to talk to Rary about that one; I'm sure he can work out another answer for me..

Trip a victory always equates to a celibration,
But! I take it your son and daughter are young and receiving pocket money, if so be sure to give them their pocket money before going to any game then if they win you then tell them you are so pleased with their football skills and think they deserve to have some ice cream, then you pat your pockets and state, "oh sorry I gave the last of my money earlier," this should produce either a "that's OK, we won't bother" or "that's OK come on and I/we will buy you one" do not use this procedure too often as children aren't as gulable as someone standing at a bar also it is unlikely that they will win every game, and remember if one wins and the other loses, it wouldn't be nice to buy just for the one and the ice cream for a celibration it wouldn't tast the same to someone who lost

Good evening, have been busy making up some flower baskets, started this morning after rescuing more lettuce seedlings again a b.... Cat using my garden as a toilet, but had to stop as OH said she needed some shopping, and once we were back home we were just in when there was a thunder storm, and the rain has flattened all my onions, picked up the boys from school, and took them up to their house, and was there till after six, once back home, finished off the baskets and had to come in the house as the midges are terrible tonight, hope we get some decent weather as dry weather cuts them down a bit, well I will wish you all a goodnight and hope its not to warm for a good night's sleep

Morning, looks like we've got rain for the day, but theres always something to do in the GH Finally got around to putting the summer quilt on the bed think this is the longest we've kept the winter quilt on for.
