Well the "Gardeners Question Time" went well at the local Nursery/Garden Centre today, I was in some illustrious company with a retired Horticultural lecturer and a Professional Gardener who had worked a lot of Royal gardens including Buckingham Palace, but they were the flower "experts" and I was the "veggie man". We had some good questions and everyone learnt something from each other, typical gardening really. Back to reality with cutting the grass once it stops raining.

Yes well done burnie, pity you stay so far away as I would have came along to hear the talk, but like Nicos could I have your autograph I will send you a blank piece of paper, just sign it in the bottom toward the left hand cornerit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Having just checked up on the pegbogs I noticed it's nearly a full moon outside.
The garden is really well illuminated...bit spooky really
I notice Jupiter and Saturn are nearby too and really bright!

Good morning all.
Full Irish for us so no need for as tray today thanks Nicos.
Off to mass shortly and then family visiting.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Ha!... having read your post Burnie, I've just made pancakes served with yog and raspberries from the garden.
Thought I'd play with ingredients so used oats instead of flour, sheeps milk, egg yolk and whipped egg white and banana.
Really nice! Will deffo make them again.

All this talk of diets... Making me feel very guilty.
Didn't drop in yesterday: went out plus internet playing up. Anyway, good day yesterday. Bought loads of bits for the irrigation system. Really hope it works. Fed up with hauling watering cans about and my back is giving me gyp.
Tied up half my toms before rain started. Yes, proper rain! Not a massive amount, but might not need to water tonight. Very embarrassed to admit that I had to cut off almost as much plant in overgrown armpits as I left growing. Should have done it earlier, but there you go. Squash out of control. On the spiralising veg thread currently on the go, someone mentions growing spaghetti squash and they roamed far and wide. I've got four. And the Confection are even bigger. Definitely going to need a patch of their own next year. Oh, and I've hand pollinated a few melons.
So, that's Sunday morning done here. Hope you're all having a great time. Catch you later.
