Late night last night...2am
Fortunately I was the designated driver so have a Cristal clear head this morning!

I think today is going to be a pottering day inside and out. Got lots of little jobs needing crossing off the 'to do list'
I think deadheading and picking the last of the soft fruit ( apart from raspberries) would be a useful start.
Dog cage is a great idea Snadge

My runners are also suddenly 8 foot high...and climbing. They really are a lovely feature in the garden too.

A very dull start to the morning.
Off to mass shortly and then going to the rose festival.
The festival is an annual event with the usual stalls and entertainment, its a good day out.

Thanks Nicos, yes it was a very enjoyable day.

Home now and the rain has just arrived.
Bought some dahlias, single flowered but beautiful dark wine foliage.
My daughter bought lots of veg.
Lots to entertain the kids with a petting farm, face painting, fire brigade giving tours to youngsters, and of course tons of food and drink stalls.
Looking forward to planting out my dahlias tomorrow.

How lovely Bramble Sleepy after outing. Everyone was shocked that I ordered Bangers and Mash but it's something we never have at home now, so I really enjoyed it!

Good evening again nothing done in the garden, after church this morning my OH had a hospital appointment for what we thought was her getting catteracts removed but all she got was an eye check and told she will be contacted within three months, once back home we called in to see the grandsons oh and our son and d.i.l only to discover that they had been down at our house and they enjoyed the peas and the tomatoes and the raspberries so evedently if I want to taste my produce I need to beat them to it though I grow most of my stuff for the children anyway. Well enjoy your week and I hope the weather is what you want (I want sunshine). Goodnight

Morning, FF, morning everyone else. In a bit of a rush today, so I'll just put the kettle on for now.

Loads to do today. But first off, cup of tea, send off a piece of work, get some water up from the well and then walk the dogs. And then start the day for real.

First day of the diet!

Managed to get all the bedding ironed yesterday so I don't feel guilty going off for a swim soon.

Looks like we are in for a hot few days so I' m going to make a few herbal teas and get them in the fridge

Finally got round to ordering my 3m X 3m decking kit online. Plan is to get this down, get some sun loungers and do a bit of sunbathing on the deck this year.

After its down I can start building my Orangery at my leisure, hopefully in time for next summer.

Windy here today but looking forward to a family fishing expedition tomorrow when weather is supposed to be good.

Good afternoon warm and windy here as well bramble, OH wanted to go to a factory shop today as we will be back on childminding duties after tomorrow and as she goes to GC when I want to go I suppose its only fair that I take her where she wants to go after all marriage is a partnership (it was either take her there or I was making my own tea all week and other services curtailed, and I don't want to play or be known as Ironing Man) need to go just now as my tea is ready
