Afternoon all,was dry warm and a bit windy,now a drop of rain,thats sounds like an ideal lunch FF,ironing is a very dirty word,mine is awaiting my fairy,hope she remembers,Bgood2yrselves,AP is,feet up and dozing of well done.

Should of gone days ago to wilko when they started the sale. But went today and picked up a few seeds next year. Also picked up clever pots plant pot reservoir didn't say how much they was before they reduce them but they are reduce to 40p. So picked up a few. Going to go back tomorrow and pick some more up. Think they will be good to plant with my tomatoes coz they slow release water and when I am working long days at work and cant get to the plot to water I think these would be good.

Morning all. Cloudy here today. A respite before temperatures go back into the 40s tomorrow and Friday.

Otherwise, all good, I'd say. More work, but more manageable than these past weeks. Mr Snoop read me the riot act the other day, so definitely got to slow down on that front. Will be ditching one of my most prestigious but also the most chaotic of my clients in September. Don't want to do it, but Mr Snoop is right.

Good buy, Cariann. And, FF, that car wasn't sure you really wanted to go back to work, was it? Hope you managed to get there in the end.

Mornings!
It started off sunny, but it's clouded over now Showers/thunderstorms in the forecast, so think I'll stay in the garden rather than get caught in a downpour on the allotments.
Yesterday I harvested peppers, tomatoes, onions and a Tromba (and there's mince defrosting) so batch cooking Moussaka later. Don't you just love this time of year?

Well...I left my ironing out for the ironing fairy, but she never turned up
So, today guess what I shall mostly be doing?
And yes, it's lovely outside!...not too hot, sunny, and a lovely breeze.
Can't complain cos I had a play day yesterday...went Vieux. It was the main Roman town for this area of Normandy. Most of it has been robbed out and still under the fields but they have a lovely little museum.
Best get on with the ironing...pah!

Prevening All Got to work at 8 home now New battery for the car. 300+ e-mails and that's with the out of office message on! You're right Snoop, I should have taken more notice of the car.

Evening all,

weather been a tad (understatement) all over the place today with several periods of sunshine interspersed with heavy heavy rain showers. I went to an auction for the first time in years this forenoon. Just checking things out but spent a few quid whilst I was there. A barometer to forecast the weather and a helmet type coal scuttle to sit beside the wood burning stove. A whole 13 quid between them . Okay, I'm a cheapskate but I liked the barometer and the scuttle will be very useful for holding logs during the winter.


Haven't got my car back yet. A wheel bearing gone and brakes sticking which will expain why it's been pulling to the side a bit but they haven't found a solution for the problem it went in with. Ah well, I have a loan car so I'm not stuck for transport

It's all relative isn't it?....I'd rather have a pile of ironing to attack than have problems with my car!
Apparently is was a lovely day...well, Tis still warm enough to sit out and read....

That was a big trick they altered the forecast so instead we've had rain of and on all day still went walking though so its not all bad.
