Mornings!
Another bright, sunny start to the day, not sure it'll last by the forecasts, so best get a shift on..
Need to put wires up for berries on the plot, posts went up in spring but not got round to the wires. Since the rain, the plants are putting on fast growth.

Morning all,

dry here but very blustery. Family funeral this afternoon so all my jobs done earlier. Still have to tidy inside the car but that will only take 10 minutes or so.

I've already been ordering seeds for next year and it's exciting getting padded envelopes through the post. Nice getting freebies from the companies too(thank you Select seeds) and today's free offering is Italian giant flat leaf parsley.

He is sleeping now so taking a break.
Dull and blustery today and feels a bit cool.

And I'm even later than Bramble signing in!
Lots of Mrs Mop this morning then wizzed off for a quick swim.
The outdoor pool closes on Sunday so I'm making the most of it!
28C and very sunny at the moment so it was absolutely heavenly. Especially as for almost an hour I was the only person swimming outside!!!!! ( yup...all the locals eat as a family between 12 and 2)

Hope the funeral,goes OK AP...never a situation any of us want to have to go through.

Underpants Snoop???? I'm never going to get that picture out of my head now! Ta muchly for that!

Right...off to collect blackberries. I should have done that first so my stained hands would be fine after swimming!

Evening everyone, late on parade
Had a much needed haircut early this morning, followed by another much needed food shop.
Our fridge had nothing much in it at all
Had a little sleep after lunch, woke up with indigestion argh
Hubby has been busy with fence and shed painting for the last couple of days.
Today was the bench, so that’s him hanging up his paintbrush
More plans being made for next years garden.

Good evening, well that's just a courteous greeting not a description of the weather as it is has been heavy rain since mid day and looks like continuing for some time, even have the heating on this evening, so think its a night in tonight so might go through utube to see what's on, whatever you are doing enjoy your evening

thank you Nicos, everything went as it should. Always nice to see folks you haven't seen since the last family event so sadness and pleasure at the same time. The weather held up brilliantly which is good as the flowers will have at least a while before the weather spoils them.

Evening, what cool and wet day, got used to the warmth, not something we get a lot of up here in the NE of Scotland, apart from the greenhouse, not much gardening done today. We had some of the first of oour Pink Fir Apple tatties with dinner, nice but lacking a bit of flavour, perhaps I was a bit early lifting them, still more in the ground.
Rary if it's youtube that floats your boat(I watch a lot of it) how about this, the first attempt at a video of my other home based hobby, I need a better video camera and better lighting too, there is some sound.

I have made everything except the loco and coaches and the track it runs on, keeps me busy when it either too wet or too dark to garden.

Hoping today will be a bit calmer
I did however get to sit outside last night in front of the firepit between 10.30 and midnight.
Saw 4shooting stars too which was fantastic

Another quick swim hopefully at lunchtime...boo hoo....last day tomorrow for outside swimming...and there is a Vide Grenier I could do with going to. Decisions, decisions!

Bit more of the 'I' word , then blackberry picking as I didn't get a chance yesterday.

Morning all, sun is out with a nip in the air. Just put a cardigan on, first time for ages.
Hubby has dispensed with shorts in favour of jeans this morning too.
Washing is in the machine, so that’s a start.
Our beautiful garden is just starting to wind down for Autumn. The flowers have done so well, giving us much pleasure. Dahlias have been so good for the bees and still have a little left to give weather permitting.
I’m in a life is wonderful sort of mood, can you tell?
