Good evening, an other dry day today, went out to the greenhouse this morning to check the overnight temperature as it felt a bit cool overnight and the temp. had been down at 5c. I think we will need to consider a heavier blanket, or cuddle in closer I think I better go and look out the blanket after church today our daughter wanted to go to Ikea so OH went with her and I went and collected 7 bags of seaweed then once back home I cut the grass who check possibly could be the last this year,I then cut back some shrubs in the front garden and as I had the lawnmower out I run it over the cuttings,I have put the lot, grass and shrub cuttings, straight onto a veg bed, and hopefully it will be ready to plant through by the spring, well enjoy your week whatever you are doing, pass on a smile, remember it benefits you as well as the people who receive it GoodnightLast edited by rary; 08-09-2019, 08:06 PM.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning, everyone.
Late start to the day here. Bright but cool. Damp everywhere from the dew. Really must clear some of the dead and dying plants from the veg patch. Not today's job though - got far too many other things to do workwise. Had a great weekend though, so won't complain.
Have a great day, everyone. Enjoy your outings, Nicos and NS. Good luck with the raffle, NS.

Mornings,
Busy day yesterday, son and partner for the day and they brought Dolly the French bulldog with them, went for a slow walk after lunch. For a small dog she has a huge personality and bark Mollycat wasn't impressed and spent the day under my duvet LOL.
Rainy this morning, was going into town, but think I'll put it off til tomorrow, hoping it's dry, which means ironing today, oh well!
Have a good'un

Good afternoon, was on the move early (for me) this morning as I had to take my son up to Edinburgh for 10-0-clock and it was heavy traffic all the way and I am not used to that nowadays and I still don't understand why some drivers race up pull directly in front of you then drive with their breaks (moan finished) coming back home it was torrential rain coming through Glasgow yet at home it has been dry all day so have just spent the day tidying up and now having a rest before making the tea. Have a good evening and enjoy your gardeningit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Mornin n'alln'all
Lovely sunny yet misty start to the day
Rained all yesterday evening here too rary...so there'll be no watering needed today.
I had an absolutely lovely day yesterday thanks. Catching up on news, bit of a giggle, good nosh, swapping a few things
Very uplifting
Back to domestics today but if it remains sunny I'm going to make some time for outdoor things!
I do need hen and quail food so I'll be needing to pop out.
On Sunday I went to a Vide Grenier and there was a lady selling her honey and she was selling combs of honey. Having had a taste I bought a large slab so I'm going to need to get some fresh bread today! Mmm...and yes, I was picking wax out of my teeth for the rest of the day...
Best crack on then!
Enjoy your day peeps, see you later."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

^Thanks for the memory, Nicos: last time I had comb honey was in Greece. I swallowed the wax. It's my only ever synaesthetic experience, as it was not only extremely perfumed but it also tasted pink and blue. Amazing. That was nearly 30 years ago and I've never forgotten it.
So, back in the here and now. The sun has just emerged for about three seconds amid the big, thick grey clouds covering the sky today. Yesterday, the forecast for today was rain, today it's not. Gah! Just windy and very cloudy. Was thinking of not watering today, on the off-chance rain would happen. But it's so windy I'll have to.
Another busy day ahead. Mr Snoop off into town again for a variety of chores. I'm about to walk the dogs, water the plot and then settle down for a serious bout of paid work. Did hardly any yesterday, so need to make up for it today.
Have a good one, everyone. Thinking of you Jay. Hope Mrs Snadger is doing well.

I am pleased to say OH is slowly on the mend.
No rain forecast for today so I will get on with my wrought iron fence and gate. I am doing it in the garden so can keep popping in to keep an eye on OH.
The fence and gate is a massive overkill for what it is. I was a self employed metalworker 30 years ago, so if I am going to make something for myself it has to be extra special.

Looks impressive, Snadger. Looking forward to seeing the most ornate part. Love ironwork fencing and gates. No call for it where we are now, but there is lots of really impressive stuff dating from the late 19th and early 20th century in Barcelona. If you're interested, Google Gaudí dragon gate.
And glad to hear about OH. Best wishes to you both.Last edited by Snoop Puss; 10-09-2019, 01:21 PM.
