Have a good one, everyone. Thinking of you Jay. Hope Mrs Snadger is doing well.
And very kind of you to remind Jay and Mrs. Snadger that they are in our thoughtsit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Evening and thanks for all the lovely thoughts! Two weeks ago I was digging ditches and cutting back bushes now I’m not feeling too good...imagination is a terrible thing!! Got to wait another two weeks before first scan, feels like forever. Lovely to pop in and read all the gossip of the day though.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, xsigpic

Evening all
Spent from Friday to Sunday travelling down to Dalkeith for the Scottish Branch of the National Vegetable Society annual Championships. I was show manager and was responsible for getting the show set up, ensuring everything was carried through properly from staging of exhibits, supervising the judging process, and eventually having the show taken down. Doesn't sound like much on paper but tremendously stressful(just waiting for something to go wrong). In the event, everything went swimmingly and the relief after everything was done and dusted was immense. Was late before we got home on Sunday and it's taken me till today to recover. Must be my age. I should ask Rary, he should know
Anyway, I'm back in the swim.Last edited by Aberdeenplotter; 10-09-2019, 10:10 PM.

Good evening/morning we had a nice morning OH got a washing out and dried I was busy making some stuff for our daughter and then mid afternoon it started to cool and change then by 6.30 the rain came on and wind increased then a torrential downpour its still raining and the wind is still quite strong hope it blows over by the morning
Congratulations on the success with your veg AP as for taking time to recover from an exhausting time, all I can say is yes its possibly you age but even I might get a bit tiered after a busy day, but ask VC she is of an age that she no doubt has experienced all thatit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Mornin Flon'all n'alln'all
Sounds like a very successful day all round AP!.. well done. Always lovely to hear about events like that.
Remember Lottie that it's not a race! And nope, not shameful at all to have some help! You have done amazingly well so far
Good news there Snadge...sounds like she's doing well and will be up and about pretty soon!?
I love your gate...very impressed -and that dragon one Snoop is amazing!
There is a wood artist back in the uk whose signature is a little mouse on his carving...had you thought about adding s little something like that Snadge when it's finished?
Good to see you Jay -keep your chin up lass it's hard not to expect the worst but things quite possibly won't be as bad as you are bracing for. Two weeks is a long wait though xx
I have quite a busy few days ahead -out for lunch with a friend who is passing through the area.
( I know...what diet?!)
Got a full day tomorrow with seed swap preparations including a press interview .
I'll try and get a bit started this afternoon/evening.
I'll prepare a quick and simple lunch for peeps so we can crack on. We have our final gite guest leaving on a Friday ...then have decided to close them both off until the end of January....so we can rip apart our lounge...right back to the stone walls, rewire, refloor, new staircase...
Looks like we're going to have a crazy winter ahead!
So Lottie...when you've finished at your end, would you like to join us here and give us a helping hand????
So first things first...cuppa anyone?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
