      • Just back home, had four more polyps removed, awaiting tests now, but doc said all looked better than last time and the gastroscopy wasn't as brutal as last time, home made tomato and chilly soup on the way.

            • Good evening, it was a nice mild dry day today, so needed to do a repair to my conservatory roof and not sure how this bit of damage was caused, just accept there is nothing untoward caused it, once I got the roof sorted I had to go and sit with the boys once they were home from school, after tea I was out to the greenhouse where i transplanted some pansies and have sewn some lupins, also sowed some long white radish, its not mooli but looks similar not sure of the name but the seed packet is out in the greenhouse so cant go and check, but here's the photo i mentioned last night of the nice calm seaClick image for larger version

                • Morning, FF. Morning, all.

Sun just peeking over the horizon at the top of the valley. Very cold but due to warm up quite a bit, back into the low 30s. The rain forecast for next week has now been cancelled. But today's big question is: will the builders come today or not? Probably not. So, no excitement but more of the same: work. Will try and dig the potatoes up as today's big mission.

Glad things are looking up, burnie and LD.

                  Have a great day, everyone.

                  • Mornings!

Quite steady rain through the night, but none now, plus there's a bit of brightness and odd bits of blue to cheer me up After I've been for a walk to get the paper, it's domestics for me - unless we get some sun which will lure me out to the greenhouse ….

                      • Good morning all.
We have an awful morning with a strong breeze and sheets of rain,
Definitely an indoor day unless it let's up.
I need to get out to the garden to put some empty pots and other bits and bobs away before the storm arrives.
                        Have a good day all.

                            • Nice afternoon so went fishing. I was the only person fishing at my local water.

Four casts, two lost fish and two nice rainbow trout. I was only fishing for an hour and a half.

I gave one trout to my Sister who lives close by and shared the other with OH.

                              • Evening, had a day shredding, the wild hedge was getting out of hand so some pollarding happening along with a severe hair cut for the smaller stuff, trying to get it to around 2 metres tall rather than the 4 it has become, almost done, then the front garden shrubs need doing, buddleia now finished, so that'll need doing.
