And it is all go, Nicos. We met on his birthday in 1982 and had hoped to get married on his birthday. Not possible so had to settle for the 5th.

Good evening, scan went well yesterday said everything was fine(I'm not pregnant btw, its women's problems) Got to go see the consultant next week for him to tell me everything is fine but he don't know what is wrong(Had this problem since I was 14 now 31).

Started to decorate the kitchen yesterday and painted half the walls today. Just need to wallpaper the other half of the walls tomorrow.

Got the sister over but she has fell a sleep on the couch.

Good evening, it was dry but cloudy for most of the day, went for some shopping but all 8 bought was cable clips as I want to install a watering system for the baskets which go out in the front garden, once back home I lifted, some leaves that were scattered all over the back garden, I got almost a full bag of elm leaves which are now on top of the garden mixed with the grass I had cut on Thursday, just watching GW, which I had recorded and Monty Don was saying don't add compost or manure before sowing and yet I added quite a bit of seaweed to my veg beds over the winter and my carrots are the best I have had for a while, well it is raining now but too dark to do anything now anyway so I will wish you all a relaxing evening and I am off to do some reading. Goodnight

First up!...I know....it's Sunday and I really should try to get back to sleep.
Ah Well...Hibou has been out and come back in, so she'll need to stay in now as it's a designated hunting day.
Good call on the leaves rary...think we need to start collecting again -it's wonderful stuff once rotted down
But first things first.....anyone of a cuppa? -I'll leave a tray and croissants outside your rooms. Enjoy

Thanks for the tea tray Nicos and the reminder that it's Sunday, I woke up thinking it was Monday

All woodwork finished now and one wall emulsioned, in the end it took 3 coats of cream to cover blue Moved bed across before I went to sleep - so can do another wall today, fingers crossed.

I think Thelma had all the croissants so I settled for bacon, eggs, toms on oatcakes Only gardening today will be digging up some parsnips and JA's its to wet to do much else.

Morning not stopped raining for ages and forecast for the next 2 days, guess who has 2 grandsons over for a sleepover for the next 2 days...………..help(probably go to the cinema lol)

Daft question but what are they hunting?

From what I gather anything that moves
We have deer, badgers, foxes, wild boar, rabbits,squirrels, hares,pheasant, pigeons as basics but at this time of the year I fear anything is game -even if it's not edible.
There are lots of reports of people mushroom picking being shot in woods -so much so there are specific days not to go mushrooming!
I absolutely hate it.

^Here, they're allowed to hunt any day of the week if they're hunting boar, otherwise it's Thursday and Sunday. It's amazing how many boar hunters there are towards the end of the season. The hunters rarely venture onto our land, but their dogs do. For some reason, no guns to be heard nearby today.

Much the same here Flo. The birds seem to be enjoying the calmer weather too. I've just been listening to a male and female tawney owl chattering away for the last 10 minutes! When it's so windy and wet they must just hunker down. Suppose they want to try and keep their feathers as dry as possible?
Lounge renovations and diet commence today. Bad clash really! previously I've enjoyed a brew break with a chunk of cake when creating rubble!
Can't believe it's Monday already...
