Mornings!
Unusual for me, but I fancied coffee this morning for a change...
Weather still the same, here, not cold but grey and miserable, with just the odd spit through the day. I suppose I should be grateful we're not getting the deluge and flooding like some places.
So, another indoors day with a dash to the greenhouse if the sun breaks through

Morning, a bit of rain due this afternoon but apart from that it looks like being a decent day to spend out and about

Morning, everyone. Slow start to the day. This is my last international port of call before settling down to work. Got too much to do, as per. Was a bit distracted yesterday, so need to catch up with that as well. As for the weather, a bit like me: grey and overcast.

Morning all, woken by the dawn chorus of the wheelie bin serenade, sure the bin men are getting their own back 'cos they are on new shifts with an earlier start. Bright and breezy out there, but the whirlwind inside has subsided now the wee grandsons have gone back home, I'm way to slow to be playing tennis with kids who have lessons, even the 5 year old beat me to a standstill.

It was a nice day here but a bit on the chilly side.
Took a trip up north and did some retail therapy.
Just back home now and it had started to rain.

Finally got my bathroom toilet, basin, bath and shower operational. I had a slight leak on the bath waste but managed to get that sorted. Started to get ready for my first bath in my 'boat' bath when I realised it had no plug.
Quick visit to Boyes sorted a new plug. Eventually after moving into house a year ago, we have a bathroom.
We have a downstairs toilet so that wasn't too bad. My daughter lives a few doors away so I have been utilising her bath at bath time. Another positive is that I won't have to run down stairs during the night if I need a pee.

Me, I 'shower' outdoors. Starting to get a bit more difficult now that we've got neighbours up and down the valley from us and they tend to turn up unannounced... Timing is crucial. Not so early that it's perishing cold, not so late that they might come round for coffee. Winter's OK. I have what might be termed a miner's bath in front of the range.

Any more information required, burnie?

Well done on your bathroom Snadge....know the feeling ...after 11 years of living here permanently we're finally renovating our lounge.
It took 7 years before we finally created our kitchen instead of making do with absolute basics and another 2before we had a proper functioning bathroom (downstairs!) I count myself very lucky that the previous owner had actually installed a tiny loo off our bedroom

Outside showering Snoop? Wow!...do you use well water for that?

I'm finally starting to feel a bit better after that rediculously heavy cold. So, today I need to sort out flyers and posters for the seed and plant swap in 10 days. Yesterday OH collected a pile of rather poorly looking plants from a very generous donator , so I'll feed n' preen those in preparation.

I managed to start a few Xmas decorations yesterday too so I'm finally getting my multitasking head together

No wind nor rain here at the moment!

Not wall to wall, but there is a bit of blue sky out there today - was beginning to wonder if the Solar Minimum meant we wouldn't see any sun at all for a long while Don't panic Mr Mannering.....

So hopefully some gardening for me, instead of more painting

Well water or town water at the moment, Nicos. Soon to be rainwater and eventually indoors.

And Rary, paparazzi not allowed and self-portraits a bit difficult with wet hands.

So, today. Wall-to-wall grey but again no chance of rain. Work calls. Got to get it done. Started early and was making good progress till the internet went on. I am so weak-willed...
