    • Good morning all
Another clear sunny morning but a still breeze as well.
Got out of bed this morning only to find the carpet soaking wet.
Turns out hubby bled the rad last night but must'nt have tightened it back securely.
Not a happy bunny as this is the second time he has done this.
The last time was a few years ago, but still......
However it's not the end of the world so onwards and upwards.
Lots to do today so best get on with it.
      Have a good day all.

Carrie, hope you feel better soon and take it easy.

      • Afternoon all,

had a session leaf sweeping on a sit and ride mower this morning for my last remaining customer. She's moving soon . Weather turned really drizzly so that put an end to that. Came home, put on a load of washing, made a corned beef sandwich, sat down with that and ermhh fell asleep. Wakened now though. must do something useful

        • Spent part of the day stacking hardwood on decking close to French windows. First I built a foot high stand out of scrap wood to start the log pile on as I didn't want it in direct contact with the decking.
Once I had stacked a pile about 6 foot high I left it at that.
I then got the chainsaw out and cut up a couple of wheelbarrow loads of softwood. The axe was next and I chopped a large hessian bag full of sticks using some of the logs I had chopped.

          • Spent the afternoon tidying out the greenhouse.
I never knew I was such a hoarder.
Space now to bring in my geraniums and other frost tender plants.

Turf cleared and soil loosened the turf lifted used to make edging for a raised bed, a and part of the garden covered with newspaper and cardboard, tomorrow I think I will have a lazy day and go yellow sticker hunting you never know I might pick up an old burd, you never know where she parks her broom though the chat up line will need to be a bit better than she had experienced lately, possibly offer her some yellow sticker goods
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                  • Good morning,

Sun is shining but it's cold here. Spent yesterday just relaxing watching Netflix and knitting. I'm miles better but this cough is doing my head in. Be glad when it's gone. Keep waking up with coughing fits during the night.

                    Have a good day

                    • Mornings!
We're not cold, but we still have the damp and dismal after more rain last night. Getting myself organised for bus into town - Library, sewing shop for thread and curtain tape, and Wilko for lightbulbs (why do they all seem to blow at once?) May just see some garden bargains while I'm in there

                      Have a good'un

Great start to the day. We have a puncture. Pah.
At least it's not one of the two new ones we bought less than a month ago
More sewing for me today. Finally getting into the swing of it

Hope you find some bargains Thelma!

                        See ya later peeps...nearly weekend!

Dry and a bit on the cloudy side but still 12degs.
May tackle the ironing this morning as its beginning to pile up.
                          Maybe some gardening this afternoon.

Decided to take a walk to the library.
Had half an hours walk back in the rain and got soaked.
