A sign of old age for me is when I see a dry day my first thought is "Great, I can get the washing hung out"
Two lots of washing hung out to dry, even though there is frost on the ground. Logs in for todays use in the woodburner brought indoors. Dishes all washed. Oh, how my life has changed since reirement, an I am not sure its for the better tho.
Next job is to measure up and see if I can fit an American style double fridge freezer into a chosen spot. With Black Friday being an ideal time to purchase it I need to make a decision quickly.

Good day, very cold here today even with the sun out, was hoping to get some gardening work done today but forgot that the schools were on holiday so have to sit in with the boys, I could take them down to my house but it is easier watching them in their own house, was out earlier with the dog and everywhere is white with frost and as the ground is frozen was able to go over the fields without her getting all mucky, I have never came across a dog that is such dirt magnet as she is righ need Togo as there is a que for getting fedit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I did head down to my house but no gardening as the ground is frozen and any leaves was going to lift are frozen onto the paths so a job for an other day the 9vernight temperature in the greenhouse regestered - 6c so recon the outside temperature would have been about-8c my barrow is full of water and even though I had broken up the ice yesterday (to let the birds get water) I had to use a hammer to break a hole in it today, I think I will go and see if OH needs me to cuddle up to her, just to keep her warmit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Good evening all.
We had a beautiful day.
Sunshine and we did a 6mile coastal walk.
OH cooking this evening so all is good.
Have a good night all.

And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Evening all, a -2’C start this morning, everywhere is white. Sun took up later in the day and it’s was pleasant mid afternoon, now at 7pm the cold is getting in again. Left poly tunnel closed all day, just checked this evening there is a lot of condensation on the inside of the polythene, and it drips down onto the raised beds.

Mornings!
Beautiful hoar frost this morning, but Lord is it cold, -3 overnight, still below freezing now. The greenhouse is frozen shut, so will have to remember to look later, see if anything needs to come indoors - I wasn't expecting this so early in the year. I still have (maybe had ) begonias and pelargoniums in there...
Have a good'un - back to curtain sewing for me

Morning, bitter cold up here, we too have a frozen greenhouse, I haven't opened it, everything is covered with a blanket of fleece and will probably stay like that until end of February at least. We are out for lunch with friends later, will have to defrost the igloo that is standing where I left the car last night.
