good morning all,i only been up about 30mins,but sun is shining,must get ready for the day,then find sumat usefull to do,after i been costco,remember to Bgood2yrselves.

Good afternoon, cold and dull today, though the thermometer shows a higher reading than yesterday it feels colder when the suns not out, was at the hospital with one of the grandsons, just a check up, and now heading out to take our granddaughter to the hospital, if I am not required as a taxi I can be used as ambulance right need to go, remember a smile works wonders

Just applied for my Auld Age Bus Pass and should get it in about 10 days time.

I haven't been on a bus for 30 years. Last time I was on there was a conductor taking your fare and smoking was allowed on upper deck

Morning, bitter cold up here, we too have a frozen greenhouse, I haven't opened it, everything is covered with a blanket of fleece and will probably stay like that until end of February at least. We are out for lunch with friends later, will have to defrost the igloo that is standing where I left the car last night.

You've just remeinded me to defrost the water in the bird bath.

Very hard frost out there this morning. I'll be lighting the range soon, in fact, as soon as I've finished this.

Busy day today workwise, plus everybody who has been feeding us these last two days is coming here to be fed and watered. Better buck my ideas up and get on with the show.

Lovely to be back!!! Not had a chance to catch up yet but I hope you are all OK?

I need to unpack then crack on with crafts for this coming weekend ( the first of the Xmas Fairs!!!) ...don't panic Mr Mainwaring !!!

Hibou slept all night with us-think she missed us! Either that or she was cold!

We've clearly had a few heavy frost whilst being away...the geraniums we'd not managed to put indoors have gone, as have the nasturtiums. The leaves are dropping or dropped off already by the thousands as the heavy frost is thawing. Sounds like someone scrunching a paper bag!

Will catch up later- just wanted to say hi to everyone.

Good evening, it was raining through the night and this morning though cold there was no frost, had the dog out early as OH wanted to go shopping, we are going to the hospital first thing in the morning so that she can get her cataracts done so she wanted enough to cover the next few days, She says she is not worried but I know she is as she can't go any length of time without coughing, however I shall pray that she is in good hands,so I will wish you all a goodnight and remember, at what may be a stressful time for some, pass on a smile
