Just got back in from lifting the dahlias, the roots are humungous this year, if they store ok they'll easily be divided I actually remembered to label them as well, so no mystery planting in Spring!
It just started raining again as I lifted the last one, and it's turning blimming cold, but job done.
My feet knees and hands are stiff with cold. Just made a mug of Oxo and slowly thawing out now.

It's basically turning a casserole dish into a Dutch Oven..and you can make 'normal bread that way too...

Good evening, have been busy the last couple of days plus problems with an advert that keeps popping up, I finished up yesterday just giving up, though I was a bit busy as OH and I went to a GC for a free coffee and I let her buy me a meal (burnie please note) and as I had some coupons I used them for some flower bulbs, which were at a reduced price and once home as it was a nice dry day they are now planted, then it we were up at our daughter's as it was our granddaughter's birthday today I had to take one of the boys for a hospital appointment then act as a taxi service for our GD. then back to watch the boys when they came home from school, I did get onto the Vine for a wee while but again I had a lot of problems with the adverts so didn't get the chance to do much, this evening things aren't as bad for some reason. We'll now going to do some reading and possibly some exercise to tighten up the body for a centrefold picture Have a good day tomorrow and pass on a smile Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Mornin n'alln'all
Been up for a while starting to prepare food for this coming weekend. Two days of Xmas Fairs and I'll not be fit to prepare anything decent then.
Faggots Burnie?..wow...I'd not had them for about 15 years-until last month when an Inn we stayed in were serving them. Wow..they were yummy! Can you still buy them in the supermarkets? We used to eat them all the time when we lived in Cardiff. Mmmmm....
More crafting for me today. I'll be glad to stop tbh and crack on with the house renovations and gardening if it ever stops raining! It's very draining mentally living in a building site.
I think I'll put up some Xmas decorations next week in the debris free part of the house and get the real tree nearer the time.
Anyone feeling Xmassy yet? I'm normally in full flow buy now.
Have to say though that at the last Xmas Fair there was a lad of about 5 who was sooo excited. All the other artisans make things like jams, honey products, chocolates, handbags, hats and gloves , jewellery etc and I was the only Xmas decoration stall. He could hardly contain his excitement! And that's one of The reasons I spend hours making daft little decorations-to bring a smile like that to people's faces-particularly the children( of all ages)
Fruit salad and yog for breakfast should be porridge on such a chill morning, but I have some fresh fruit needing using up. Any left over I might add some honey and butter to and bake for a short time. It makes a lovely dessert!
Time for another brew me thinks?
See ya later peeps"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornings!
A bit of sunshine to cheer me up this morning, so lovely to see
Butchers don't seem to sell faggots, nowadays, but Trashco sell these for when the mood takes me.
In Greece I'd buy Kokoretsi - made from assorted bits and pieces (best not ask exactly what tbh) wrapped in a caul - which were faggot-like and delicious.
Probably too wet to actually work on the plot, but I'll walk round and pick some veg for w/e dinners, at least. See if anyone's about...
Have a good'un
