Good evening, it has been (and still is) a very cold day today, not much done, we went out to pick up some radiator valves for our son as we will be doing a bit more plumbing tomorrow then it was back home but just felt it too cold to be going out to the garden other than to feed the birds, I had been thinking just the other day that there wasn't much activity around the feeders now it's 2 or 3 times a day, well OH is watching that dancing program which I can't stand so going to read a book, enjoy the rest of your weekend

what I did to post a pic.
First of all click on "go advanced" then
toggle down into the "Your message" box
Below the title you will see three rows of Icons In the second row starting with the Highlighted Bold Italics and Underline (B I U Icons , in the fourth group along, second last in that group is the "insert Image" Icon. Click on that
In The next screen click on "Choose File" then search and select the pic you want on your computer. Click on "open" then click on "upload file"
Something similar to "ATTACH=CONFIG]89407[/ATTACH" should appear in the message dialogue box but with square brackets at each end of the words attach.
press submit reply after entering the text you want to post with the pic and your pic should appear with your text. I've done it and hopefully my pic should show below. Fingers crossed

I had to edit that because I somehow uploaded my pic twice but it was that easy. Apologies for not turning the pic but the pic wasn't really there to be looked at.Last edited by Aberdeenplotter; 30-11-2019, 07:40 PM.

A word of praise to Fish of Marillion fame (Derek William Dick). He was on that pointless "Pointless" show today and without making a big thing of it made known that he enjoyed growing vegetables. Like it or lump it, pop stars/idols are role models and some youngsters may well decide to have a go at growing vegetables as a result Mind you, on second thoughts, I doubt if youngsters would watch that programme.

and isn't photomucket quite expensive to use nowadays? I know I stopped using them a few years back, when they stopped letting you use forum links to display photos.
If you do still have an a/c with them, then you can fix the upload size preference on their site, so they aren't ever too big...

Morning another frosty start to the day hope we don't get yesterdays fog to go with it.
Looks like you've sorted out you photo problem cptncrackoff I used to use photobucket but then went over to imgur.com instead. But it is easier just to upload to the vine from the phone using VC links. Cropping of a bit makes a bit difference if you're using a iphone.
Wrap up warm and enjoy your SundayLocation....East Midlands.
