I find whisky helps...………………………….what ever the problem(well no actually I should say drink responsibly)………….I should.
Laphroaig works, my mate says it would probably un block drains as well....he's not a fan of heavily peated Islay Malts, SWMBO is just not really a fan of Islay, no shops you see, just distilleries, not a hand bag in sight(I bet I don't get her to fall for that trick again lol, lovely Hebridean Island said I)
I hate pleated whisky, my favourite Scotch is Isle of Jura 12 year old, has a slight smokey aroma but no peaty taste.
My favourite whiskey is Irish naturally, preferring Bushmills 10 year old Single Malt, followed by Slane Irish Whiskey which is a young 3 barrel blended whiskey from the distillery in Slane Castle famous for its rock concerts.
Had a spell shopping in the city today and got everything I was shopping for so that was a plus. Lunch was a fish finger Sandwich with a glass of cider. Last had a fish finger sandwich when I was a bairn and that was really fine. Todays was different, really fish goujons in a big ciabatta bun but super fine. Before and after pics below.

My favourite whisky or whiskey is the one in my glass at the time, preferably supplied by someone else

Good evening, went to bed last nigh t and everything was coated in white from the frost, when I got up this morning and everything looked damp due to a shower of rain a bit earlier though the temperature was up a bit, when I was out with 5he dog there were still some dangerous patches of ice after walking the dog we were up to the church to put up some decorations and the tree, and with going up and down stairs and ladders my legs were a bit sore, possibly I should leave this type of thing to young folk, after that it was getting the boys from school, and now relaxing watching Roads Less Travelled Atlantic Way, which I would recommend to any of you who like to see some beautiful countryside, its on BBC Scotland if you want to try and catch it on the I player. Well enjoy you week and remember to dress according to the weather and don't get caught out by the cold. Goodnight
