      • That proves it - your eyes are as blurry old as rary's.

        • Sorry I’m late getting back to you, I was watching the rumble in the jungle.

Anyway the monkey shoulder is the stoop shoulder and long arms from the days of hauling grain and raking it over the kilns when it was malting that all the workers had. They walked a bit like an orangutang up on his two legs, with little no arms drooping.

                • It's dropped 2C down to -2C in the last 90 mins, and there's a heavy frost!

I always thought the coldest part of the night was about 5am?

                    • Morning all. Another chilly morning here. And very, very grey. Hope tomorrow's rain doesn't arrive early as I'm not ready for it...

Better get on with the work so I can get preparing.

                      Have a good one everyone.

A bad night with my back again, so don't know what I'll be doing today - perhaps more crafting. Ooh the postman's just delivered my new cookie/fondant mould

We have a similar thing close by.. Consett steelworks (Closed in 1980) and used to have three blast furnaces. Workers used to push huge wheelbarrows full of coal to the top of the blast furnaces in the early days and the population supposedly developed long arms because of this!

                              • Morning all. Off to try to open a new bank account today. The two banks accounts we have are with banks which are 40 miles from where we live. We have two other banks 2 miles away so I intend opening an account with one of these.

Frost seems to have abated a bit so hopefully I won't slip and fall over.
