  • Anyone getting twitchy?

On hols in the Lake District at the moment.
Should be nice views, but at the moment it's a complete white out with fog!
Back home soon, I have the twitchies for gardening.
Need to be out and pottering.
Anyone else got the same feeling?
Still as a substitute I guess we are off to the local pub for some Lakes ale and food.

Jimmy, I started my onions and shallots weeks ago as I need them very early next year but I really feel like having a day in the plot. I resisted. This morning, I lifted her ladyship's dahlias and it's such a fine day I have them sitting drying off in the sunshine

Just back from staying at our daughters, onions should be going in the heated propagator tomorrow, that will be my gardening for January. I have other hobbies to keep me busy in the darker months.

Are you suffering with the Twitch?
At this time of year many people suffer in this way. But don't worry, there is a cure that has been tried and tested by many gardeners worldwide.

                  The remedy is simple:-

Overcome that twitchiness by sowing a random seed every day.

                  Yours in health,

I've been sowing peas shoots and using celery seeds for sprouting not much but its something to grow and add to salads.

I'm curbing my twitchiness by watching the Spring recordings I have of GW and Beechgrove.

Though I'm not sure if I'm making it worse, seeing crocus and daffs in flower and Monty rootling about in the soil....

I often pay a visit to my emergency potting shed, the pub.
There is usually some one interested in gardening, veg of course.
                        And they sell anti-twitching medicine.
Best to have a good dose.

Are these self saved. If so, are they in the fridge?

Mine are still in Ploytunnel (-2.5 last night) how long do they need the cold to enable germination?
