A delivery of fresh flowers for my son and his partner, my daughter and her husband and myself and OH.
Were meant to arrive for Christmas.
Cards saying happy Christmas with Chritmas ribbons wrapped around them.
Hallo....this is 19th of January, where were they when my daughter, who lives in the U.S.A. complained so many times and got no explanation.
Florist, you have not heard the last of this...she spent a fortune on these flowers.

sick to death of virgin TV since they made me change to the lastest box,i want to watch a catchup and have to sign in,i have looked at how to do it and got know where,i am seething and wound up,am going to have to find out about another servise provider,also MR was used to the old one,plus it now takes almost 10 mins before it burst into life from switch on,why are things so complicated,some ones you can get into,i only want to watch last sundays call the midwife,as MR was watching something else grrrrrr,i was lovely and relaxed.

This masterpiece was hidden under a 4ft stone resin shower tray. All installed by a professional plumber for the person who owned the property previously.



That's a 40mm waste pipe dangling into the 110mm soil stack. It's not like you really need a seal, connectors or a boss to keep smells and vermin out is it nah just dangle the pipe in and cover it up.

^^^Plumbers!! Had a new bathroom fitted a few years ago. A few months later (I know I should have cleaned it earlier) I decided to clean the back of our boxed in toilet (where the waste pipe leaves the house). What’s this I think as I reach in...a dead rat or...no two white hand towels stuck in the gap round the waste pipe!! To top it all, they were MY white towels!!!! Plumber, though not a friend, is someone we are friendly with, if he can do that think what strangers do!!! Grrr!!

Financial assessment done for Social Services.
We live on benefits. £48.55 a week to pay towards a 3 hour a week care package. That’s what we would have to pay.
Off to crush a grape (the fruit) and spit cobs (not sweet corn).

MY rant is,it's about time benefit system was sorted out fairly,come and visit peeps,see for themselves,then judge,thats what happens when a pysio ext treatments are needed,not just a plan for all,some realy need it,some do not,right soap box parked up.

My rant: that calculation cannot possibly be right. It's positively disgraceful. Lumpy, if you have an advisory body like CAB in your area, go and see them. Otherwise appeal.

Being pulled in for a disciplinary hearing over my attendance at work

But I've been here 18 years and in all that time I have 2 days off with my frozen shoulder and 4 days of with a chest infection!

"Yeah, but you have broken the 3% company absence rule because they were both taken within a 3 month period"

Emptied the water butt so it wouldn't freeze and split which allowed the winds over the weekend to blow it around the garden where it hit a post and split.
