      My minor rants:
Cats pooing in my broccoli bed
Plastic bags off other allotmenters plot blowing on to mine
Stray compost bin that keeps finding its way on to my plot. It has no lid otherwise I would claim it.

Shoulder op delayed for 2 months. In despair. That brings me right to the busy planting and sowing season and I wont be fit to do much.

Just been thinking of listing some books on ebay at 99p start. If I charge £2.00 postage and the book sells for 99p I get stung for 10% ebay fees and 10 % Paypal fees. that means I will get 40p for the book and all the hassle of wrapping and posting.

              Sod that,

Smoke alarms that start ‘beeping’ at 5.00 am! Then stop, then start, then you put a new battery in and it continues to beep! Help !

Some smoke alarms have a memory, take out the new battery and hold the test button for 15 seconds, then reinsert the new battery.

                        My rant...snow!

Just recently got into making dinner plate pies. Why don't the makers of ready rolled pastry make it big enough to make the base and the top of a plate pie?

Instead, I have to get the flour and rolling pin out and stretch it to make it fit. I thought the whole idea was to make it easy to use.

2nd rant-I can't believe how sad I have got in my retirement, making pies and having a rant about pastry!

Rodents - rabbit and a squirrel in the garden today. Have had a rat and a mouse trying to eat my spuds. The mouse was caught in a trap and the rat killed itself by breaking in to some old rat poison I had in the shed and had been wondering how to dispose of. 12 mice caught in the loft so far this winter.

Hubby has been watching some archaeology program where they are digging up skeletons in Cheshire (that were originally given a Christian burial) for no good reason that I can see. I just find it so disgusting. 21st century grave robbers!!!!! Then they are carting them off to Liverpool university and playing about with them. I am not particularly religious but I really think that this should not be allowed when there is no good reason. To then film this and make money from a tv programme just adds insult to injury. Hubby can't see why I find this upsetting so maybe it's just me.
