Allotmenteering is a dangerous hobby which after an accident has resulted in visits to Doctors, then A&E and now IV treatment on a daily basis because of my bloody diabetes and Cellulitis that has taken hold in my leg. Joy of Joy details of what happened on my blog

That stupid silicone stuff the dentist uses to make impressions of your teeth. I'm still picking in out of my beard I've been walking around with it plastered all over my face most of the day and nobody said anything even though it's bright blue.

Maggie the Sags lump results.
Mast Cell tumour. Apparently rare in the mouth and as such not graded for its intensity of malignancy.
Back at vets in three weeks to have her lymph nodes checked. If she has any swollen ones it is NOT good.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Not so much a rant as a "what makes you sad."
Having to abort a trip to the allotment with the boys because the 8yo has regressed to manic/unmanageable behaviour again. While the plot is a relatively safe space for him (familiar, rules and routines are a known thing), I can't have him there if his behaviour is so wild as to be anti-social, it's not fair on the other plot holders. I coaxed, coached and consequenced myself out of all my tools and tricks and then we had to go home, 20 mins after we got there.
Part of it is frustration I need to get things done on the plot and now I'm behind. But much more of it is that horrible sinking feeling that we're staring down the barrel of a CAMHS referral, and I do not think that would serve him well, although we may have no other options.
90% of the time he's a bit wired, but apart from that you would never know there was a problem. The other 10% of the time is brutal.
But we've got this. We've always got this. *drinks coffee and girds loins*

A CAMHS referral might be really helpful to you & calm everything down,it’s helpful to the child discussing their feelings & finding ways of dealing with them, kids go through so much nowadays it’s quite normal & don’t worry about anything but write a list of things you need to do,crossing one thing off the list is a celebration of achievement.Location : Essex

I took a relative to the doctors surgery to see a physiotherapist. During a conversation between them it became obvious that the physiotherapist had access to the relatives medical history. Although he said nothing at the time on the way home the relative told me he was really upset about it and had always presumed that only the doctor had access to the information. I know quite a bit about this relatives life as a child and from what I know I can completely understand why he would only want to share it with people he trusts. I then got to thinking about it and I agree with him. I don't want my notes sharing with anyone other than my doctor...certainly not physiotherapists and nurses..other than things I particularly want to share with them. Who else has access to this information? Where does it stop? It's a bit like making a confession to a priest and realising the choirboy knows about it. Maybe it's because I am old but I am not happy.
