At £8 delivered you cant go wrong with the darleks....but then if you have a supply of pallets for free.

The darleks heat up well if left in the sun. I tend to bung all my stuff in the pallet compost heap to start off them fill up the darleks once it has started to rot down.

I've got Daleks and traditional home-made wooden bins (large surface area and covered with old carpet). I've had better long term results from the wooden bins. Daleks are OK for soft waste, but the oldfashioned heap or bin has proved better for woody bits, cardboard etc.

Speaking of Daleks, 1 of my claims to fame is - I have actually spoken to a real Dalek, yessirree! It was at a Childrens Exhibition and Daleks were like guides, so I asked one where the toilets were.

        Sad, isn't it!
