Clearing Land

Paths 2' wide down each side & middle the right side split into 8 beds more or less the same size the left side split into 3 all dividing paths are grass except middle which is slabbed.
I am thinking of taking some of the grass out.
When I got the allotment it was just covered in weeds.
PS beds on right are 15' x 6' aprox

Thanks BW - that isn't dissimilar to what we are planning. Quite gratifying, as it means that we, as rank novices are on the right tracks - or at least the same tracks as those with a good deal of experience.

We have only had the allotment since Sept 2005 and had no previous gardening experience.
I have had some successes but quite a few failures it has been quite a steep learning curve.
