Well I don’t mind saying I’m 58 but I tell people I’m 62 because if they think I’m 58 they may also think hard paper round but if I say 62 they might say mmm not too bad for 62!! Never understand why females pretend to be younger than they are!!

I think that's 9, she said, looking puzzled.

It'll do for today, maybe tomorrow, I'll be a bit older .............
The reason VC has problems counting up her years is because she can't remember where she put her abacus, and she is just about to move into the third row in a couple of years

              I'm 55 which is neither 50 nor 60 so I'll pretend I'm 40

I'm clearly neither the youngest or oldest at 35, until Bastille day that is.
Incidentally if anyone else is born on another countries national holiday I can higjly reccomend going there to celebrate. I had my 30th in Paris, was so lovely of them to put a parade and fire works on for me.

I'm 51, but have decided to adopt the appearance of a 31 year old to other humans....

Am I dead then as I'm on my own now?
If I am, it's not as good (or bad) as I was lead to believe

Every five years, those of us born in the same year have a big party in the village. The first one was when we all hit 50. This year will be our third party. Time to get your abacus out, VC?

I must be younger than the pair of you as they were being phased out when I was at school and slide rules/log tables were used for difficult sums.

My family tradition is to choose an age and to stick to that number for years to come, when I reach that age I will stick to it
