Confirming Credibility

Hi All,
Have been rather busy - had a death in the family, so haven't been on in awhile. Thanks to everyone who PM'd me asking where I was and being complimentary about my stint in the mag.

In the middle of the PMs was one from another member, his tagline said Banned and he was asking for articles, which he stated were paid - something smelt funny about this so I wanted to know if this was just a spam pm and a con as their website is up and running.

I am always wary about anything like this unless they say the name of the person who recommended me to them.
