That's the one! Sad that it doesn't work for you. Have you looked into your diet to see if anything there affects your joints? Tomatoes and citrus springs to mind!

I've tried everything. With me, personally, it's just poor physical health. Excersise works, when I can get up off my lazy backside.

          Hi All

I've had all kinds of physio for my back probs. Just started another load cos I had a nasty dislocation of my shoulder during the clod weather.

I find eating proper food, getting fresh air every day and walking helps to keep me moving. If you stop moving, you sieze up and it's harder to start getting mobile again. I think that gardening and animals gives people so much therapy that is beneficial. I defy anyone to tell me that stroking a dog or cat doesn't make them feel better (unless you're allergic of course )How about the feeling you get when that first little seedling pops its head up. I get a buzz from that every time it happens.

Also, having a positive mental attitude helps. My attitude is not why me but, it's happend to me, that's it, get on with it. No-one likes a moaner

You are so right Lilo Lil I find that other people's problems are so much worse than mine. I can still look after myself, get myself around even if only slowly, have a roof over my head, bread on my table and marvellous friends! What more could a body wish for - well tall, dark and handsome springs to mind!

Well Squirral, a multi millionaire with a heart condition and no living relatives is always a boost to a girlie

So long as you can laugh, nothing else matters. Life's there so I think you just have to get on with it, and make the best of the breaks you've been given.

Yes.. another back pain story, trapped nerve one night, excruciating pain, but no pain in back now.., just numb toe and pain up the leg from the ankle, since about a month , after wheelbarrowing spent earth out of 2 greenhouses with too much gusto..As you say Doctors just give you painkillers to get you upright, but then its go home and get on with your life!
Agree about the crawl.. breaststroke definately a no-no according to the osteopath, and keep your head under water! Any advice/exercises to get rid of pain when walking very much appreciated.
                Thanks
