  • Meet Dylan!

This lovely boy needed a new home due to owners ill health just as we needed a new dog to fill the hole left by Kira.

He came to us yesterday after several visits. He's a lurcher with more than a touch of Collie ( we think), 2 years old in October. So fast it's amazing, but mainly wants to lie down on sofas being cuddled.

All in all a wonderful, affectionate boy, with ridiculously long legs. Is making us all very happy again

Hadn't thought of pointer but could be? He does indeed have a very long tongue - matches his legs! He's also a sock thief....

What a lovely dog..lucky to get such a caring owner.

HH, I’m so happy for you, Dylan looks like he will be injecting a lot of life into your life now, if he is pinching socks it’s probably because he wants your scent, give him an old jumper of yours that you’ve worn but NOT washed and let him keep it in his bed. I hope you both have many years of joy together.

He seems happy with an old leather glove of my husband's at the moment! He's convinced he's a lapdog despite being far too tall. Very fond of playing tennis with a ball thrower. Adores the children already which is great.

Needs a bit of training but extremely good natured and wants to please so should be ok, especially when he's settled in a bit. Just a shock to have a dog that actually barks again - Kira just howled!
