Spinner, for the kids!

Was in the pub a day or so ago (what's new!).
They had some beer mats that looked like ninja throwing stars.
I tried one on the wife but as they are only cardboard and not steel it bounced of her thick hide.

Still I though they would make a nice spinner for a child.
Remember them, a card circle with two small holes and a loop of string.
By streching and relaxing the string you can get the card to spin very fast.

Just thought I would mention it.

I remember making those as a child. Also dividing the circle into segments, colouring each segment a different colour, and being amazed how the colours merged when the disc span round.

simple things for simple days....
