  • Very annoying question

Presumably because I am a newbie here, I have to answer a question before posting. Fair enough. But when the question is "what colour is a carrot?" and I put down orange and am told the answer is wrong.

I thought you were all vegetable gardeners on here!

How many posts do I have to place before I am rid of this ridiculous charade?
    Cheers Ant.

Carrots come in many colours, would be the correct answer - honestly

You are posting now, aren't you? The questions are just to make sure you aren't a robot, I presume, so don't get too cross with the system..

I had that question and had to stop to think for a bit. The answer is "carrot-coloured" obv…

Weren’t carrots originally purple & things have happened to make them more friendly looking they made them orange? It’s a difficult question to catch out the robots.

Once you've found the answer to the colour of carrots, prepare yourself for "What is the colour of grass?"

            That's a really hard one - especially if you're a robot.

I seem to recall that around post number ten a lot of annoying things stopped happening.

Pretty old style tech running this site - doesn't stop it being great though. Grin n bear the pain at the start of the 'Process' - (reference - my missus is watching Apprentice right now)

Once that process is out of the way... well, YMMV but its worth sticking with it (the site)

Didn’t have questions when I was a seedling. Which I’m very pleased about.

Or have I mentally blocked out that annoying bit.

I've asked Admin to check this out. Clearly a glitch they need to look into.
Thanks for letting us know about it.

I tried that answer and was told that it was also incorrect. To reply to your post, I had to answer the question "what colour is a blue coat" and, believe it or nor, I got it right!
                        Cheers Ant.

Well done, Ant. That's a really difficult question.
You'll soon be able to do all sorts of extra things too - like edit your profile and post photos of your plot - 'cos we're a nosey lot (not me, of course)
