I was just wondering what items viners were considering buying, taking advantage of Black Friday prices?

Me, I am after an American style large fridge/freezer with drinks dispenser, if I can make room for it.

I had a bid on Ebay for a HUAWEI FIG-LX1 P-SMART BLACK UNLOCKED @ £59 but its just sold for £69.00, so I'll have another look later - I don't buy new stuff really except a few clothes, cheaper to wait for someone else to pay the shop price and then get theirs when they want another new

My current mobile is a an old slider type Samsung thing vintage 2005'ish - I use it about 5 times a year to call somebody if I'm out somewhere no mobile reception at the Cottage :-) But as being trendy is very unimportant to me (joke) - I thought I'd better get down with the kids :-)

I need a new lawn mower not sure if they feature this time of year but I'll be taking a look.
And I'm sure there'll be the usual supermarket wine offers to stock up for the festivities (who am i kidding - the usual Monday to Sundays)

I've just spent a bonkers amount of money on some kitchen items. Don't tell me I could have waited and perhaps got them cheaper. Aargh!

Been looking at Ryobi deal which isn't really much cop but in the process of looking at prices I found

sale or return rules are quite generous for internet purchases, depending on how you square that with your conscience :-)

If possible keep an eye out on prices from before, as I found that some electrical items increased in price for Black Friday a discount was applied as a Black Friday deal, but to a higher price than it sold for a few weeks or months earlier. So it appears to be discounted, but its not really, if that makes sense.
If you have an idea of the freezer that you like and the price, come Black Friday you will know whether you are getting a decent discount. There can be some good discounts about.
Good luck, I don't enjoy shopping, unless its growing related

Take warning as Chillithyme is saying, if you are wanting something and waiting specifically for a Black Friday deal, keep a record of what it’s been offered for in the weeks in advance. Then challenge the shop if they are bumping up the price to make the sale price look good. Report to the ombudsman or take to social media particularly twitter and instagram.

I have one of these, it is great, but I will say hooking up your water supply to it needs a bit of thought. Be careful if you put it on a rising main because of the pressure. Mine is hooked up to a RO filter system so no pressure concerns and the water is filtered before dispensing.
