Evening all.
Trying to keep active and doing something/anything. I potted up some show shallots I didn't get planted at the plot the other day. They won't grow big enough to show but they will be a valuable source of stock for next year. These show shallots can cost a couple of quid each so it's important.
I then put together a wee guide to growing on the rooted onion sets I donated to our local foodbank. The foodbank is open to all and the seeds and onion sets I put in are targeted at families with kids who may want to have a go at growing some veg. That makes me feel good.
We're waiting for a plumber to come fit a new radiator in our back porch. Was going to repaint the walls after the plumber had been but with lockdown in place and me needing something to keep me occupied it's getting done now

Good evening a dull wet day today though a wee bit warmer, helped OH make the house tidy, I went out to the greenhouse while she dusted and whatever else women do as housework I also defrosted one of the freezers, unfortunately we can't start clearing up and emptying the wardrobes and drawers as all the charity shops are closed and also the council recycling points, which makes me very disappointed I was out in the greenhouse for a time and decided to sow more onion seeds possibly a bit late but I don't have any sets and the onions a have sown are not good keepers, so will see how they go, or should that be grow, for off to see what's on telly I might even catch up with Monty Don in America which I recorded a while ago, well keep safe and I hope you can keep gardening but stay clear of others though remember a smile travelsit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning all, quick visit today. Loads of work today and Mr Snoop has gone on a mission into the village to collect post and do shopping.
Am very low on data allowance, so if I don't show my face here tomorrow, that'll be why. Not the dreaded lurgy.
Meanwhile, have a good time, everyone. Happy gardening.

Mornings!
Another lovely sunny morning and frost-free
The fence needs to wait 'til it can be done 'properly' so for now I've sorted out some spare wooden posts and metal poles to put in where necessary to straighten it up, to at least keep the neighbours dog out
Must finish my tea and make a start..
Have a good'un and stay safe

Sun! I see sun! I'm soooo happy.
It's cold mind but hey ho, the sun is shining.
Really looking forward to the clocks changing, can't come quick enough this year.
Spent the day in bed yesterday just because I was freezing. I didn't even feel guilty. I watched everything from how to build a plastic bottle greenhouse to how bad some hoarders were in America. I actually feel better for a day's rest tbh and I think I'm going to be fairly pro active today as a result.
Hope you all have the kind of day you are hoping for. x

Mornin n'alln'all
Sunshine here today, but a bitingly cold wind.
Think I might venture into the garden early afternoon and just do a bit of tidying up the patio before the temperature starts dropping again."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Good morning all.
Dull but mild and dry.
Same routine now with the current situation.
Off to walk in the park and then some gardening.
OH does domestics as he doesn't have much else to occupy him.
Have a good day and stay safe.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Good morning, rain as usual, don't know if I will come on to the Vine very often with everybody remarking about the sun, I take that you are all referring to that big bright ball that gives off a lot of heat, or so I have been told I was thinking about contacting Snoops OH to see if when he is working on his new solar system to see if he could make one that let's me get sunshine and Jay don't worry about getting wakened by a blackbird at 5 next week it will be 6 enjoy whatever you do, well unless it's housework but smile I hope that OH sees me smiling while I do some of the housework that way she might think I am enjoying myself and stop asking, telling me to do someit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
