Afternoon we've had both snow and hail today along with intermittent sunshine very odd i didn't stay in the garden long just enough to check GH seedlings and empty the kitchen caddie.

    • Good evening all.
My daughter had just dropped off our shopping on the front doorstep.
She had to queue for a while as they were only letting in a small number of customers at any one time.she said the shelves are well stocked and no shortages.
Otherwise it was a bitterly cold day, sunny and dry.
Hope everyone is safe and well.

I think the magpies finally gave up with their nest at the top of the tree

I was going to do a bit of weeding but pah!...I chickened out
Let’s hope tomorrow will be better.

        Keep safe peeps!

          • Evening all! Feeling a little more positive today!

Popped to Lidl earlier.. picked up a four tier potato planter for £9.. made my day, might use it for strawberries.. dunno..
Also picked up another blow away greenhouse.. looks like we'll need another one if we've gotta grow more than ever..

            Pretty sure these are essentials..

                • Mornings!
Mollycat decided to jump on my head at 5am, she wouldn't settle down and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm like a bear with a sore head this morning
Of course now I'm up, she's gone back to bed - cats eh?

I should do some ironing, today, but it's not important in the scheme of things, if nobody is going out, is it? - so may just move the pile somewhere I don't notice it as often

Have a good'un and stay safe

                  • Mornin n'alln'all
Well...the wind has finally dropped and we have a lovely sunny start to the day.

Speaking of new blowaway...we went to fit our replacement cover on our blowaway (largest size from Wicos) only to find that it doesn't fit!
                    It's too small.
It's the size it says on the package but it's the largest of the two that they make.
When did they start making them smaller?????
                    Very frustrating.

I'm getting more and more tempted to build some kind of solid lean to

Hibou was up and around at stupido'clock.fr too Thelma * yawns
Need to do a bit of potting on today....

                    See ya later peeps...

                    • Good Morning All Windy and trying to rain here. I'm back at work tomorrow with mixed feelings. They may have a laptop arranged so I can work from home, but my role is managing staff so it will feel like I'm letting them down if I'm not on the premises. Anyway, have a good day

FF, more important to stay safe and keep away if you are not needed there. You are one potential more contact for anyone else in the office and the possibility of exponential growth of infection if anyone there is already infected doesn't bear thinking about.

                        • Morning all, lovely and sunny today! Had a terrible sleep last night, mind was racing so I’m really tired this morning. Do you think it was because I watched Most Haunted before going to sleep?
Hope you all have a great day. x

                          • Good morning all.
Dry and bright at 7 degs.
Some potting on to do today.
Domestics of course, and that's about it.
                            Have a good day all.
