Evening, been a cold day so not much done outside, so I have been seconded as kitchen assistant, it's well above my pay grade to be allowed in there on my own, but bread kneading and lifting heavy trays are allowed...……………………..

Is that something I might find hidden at the back of the shed?

Mornin Flon'all
Just had some rain here too. What a contrast to yesterday!
Glad I got the field cut whilst it was dry.

Mornings!
Never seen our posties wear shorts.
Dont think I want to either.
One of ours does and although not a young man, he does have a lovely pair of legs (and a nice smile)
Today's weather is a bit of a let down after yesterday, to say the least - grey, with the odd spit of rain, at least it's not turned cold. Even if I don't do much when I get there, I need to go to the plot for some of my tools to crack on with the garden.
I'll try to go at lunchtime so I'll miss the ol'boys who always nag me for not doing as much as them, but have wives to do all the cooking and housework. (Not that I allow it to annoy me enough to say so, of course )
Have a good'un and stay safe

Morning, all.
That's brave, Rary, talking about wind-up devices. You'll have VC going on about how old you must be to remember that and asking whether you had a car with a starter handle. Me, I'd never think of pointing out the age of a venerable gentleman.
OK, so, a bit of cloud in the sky. Due to get quite overcast but no rain till tomorrow. Seen the photos of nature moving into UK villages now there are not so many people out and about. Me, I'm waiting for ducks to turn up in what were once our fields.
Busy work day ahead. So better get on with it.
Have a good day, everyone. Catch you later.

Morning all.
Bright, dry and sunny.
It rained last night but the ground needed it.
Off out to do my walk up and down our back laneway.
Some domestics and a bit of gardening.
That's as exciting as it gets today.
Have a good one and take care.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
