    • Morning all.

Despite completely and utterly supporting the lockdown, I am getting quite stir crazy now. All the jobs I wanted to get on with are on hold as I cant get supplies so my bedroom is like a building site, no skirting or framing, holes in plasterboard where things were removed, bare floor etc. My garden is worse as I cant take the dismantled shed and it's contents to the dump as it's obviously closed so I have no space to get on with the plans out there.

Lord knows my frustrations pale into comparison given what some poor families are going through right now. I hope you are all staying as safe as you can.

      Thoughts with you Jay. xx

      • Afternoon, all. What a waste of yet another morning. I don't know where the hours go...

Anyway, quick say hello. Lots to be getting on with.

Have a great day, everyone. Good luck, Jay. Hope it all goes well.

          • My potatoes are ready for planting but there are 3 old fence panels, some brushwood and logs that need cutting into shorter lengths in the way. That's alright, thinks I, I'll plug the electric saw in and cut it all up and store it for next winter. The only socket I can plug the extension lead in is occupied by the breadmaker so I've had to wait for it to finish. So I'm sitting here with a G 'n T, watching a Loose Women repeat and making a pompom.

I tried using the loppers to cut down the viburnum suckers, but they seem to be as obstinate as the original trunks were, so the saw will be used on them too.

            Ah. Breadmaker's beeping. Laters.

Another beautiful day though it's a bit misty.
                More gardening today.
I have been gardening off all my plants and wekk Rary.
Looking forward to the day I can plant them out, it will give me something to do
The weather here is quite different from other areas bramble, it has been overcast and a light smurr all day today, I have noticed on TV that in other areas the tulips are in flower but here they are still at the bud stage, but the daffs are in full flower

As long as it doesn't disturb any neighbours could you burn some of wood to clear some space

Can you dismantle it into planks/sections and make raised beds with them? or staging for the GH, or a compost bin?

I can't imagine taking a shed to the dump - it must have a use for something.

Rary, your flowers are very pretty - did Mrs rary tell you what to do?

Its beautiful here - very sunshiny. I've been filling module after module with seeds - big seeds like beans, courgettes and tromboncinos. Also filled 4 planters with the early sown tomatoes - I kept 12 - and they're in the GH permanently. No more inning and outing for them.

On days like this, its easy to forget all the hardships in the world outside my garden. I hope you are all staying safe.

                      • Afternoon, went supermarket shopping this morning did well got most of my list only missing a few items, so that was good.
Then Mr Pots cut my hair talked him into cutting half inch off from all over I wasn't brave enough for him to use the Wahl trimmer. I'm happy now but Its not as impressive as VC's hair cut through

                        • Impressed!!
Wouldn’t let Farendman loose on mine.
I still can’t decide whether to cut it myself or yank it back in an elastic band.
Given that I’m going nowhere and no one is coming it doesn’t really matter what it looks like.
So - it’s hack or yank.
I’m sure my trusty hairdresser of forty years will be able to put me back to normal whatever I do.
Oh bug**r - just remembered FaceTime!!!

                              • Evening,
Don't know where the day went, but weather was lovely for it

I have rosy cheeks and white round my eyes 'cos the lenses in my glasses changed to really dark in the sunshine. Carried on splitting the dahlias and potting them up as well as the begonias. Every year I end up with some without labels, despite trying to make sure they ARE all labelled. I reckon there must be piskies under the staging

                                Stay safe!
