Evening all. Page loaded much faster this evening, I gave up trying yesterday!
It had been a lovely day here and the sun is still shining. Started off sunny then dulled down but by lunchtime sun was back. Think that’s the last of the good weather for a while.
Wishing Mr & Mrs Flo a very Happy Anniversary
Happy Birthday Rary when it comes!
Enjoy the rest of your evening and hopefully see you tomorrow. Xsigpic

Frosty here too.
spent a loooooong time covering all the tender stuff yesterday, so it wasn’t in vain.
woukdve cursed if we hadn’t had a frost after all the effort put in.
going to try to post a photo showing some of it. Polystyrene boxes, upturned flower pots, hardboard, wire mesh, newspaper and old double glazing panels.
will have to move it later and then reposition before evening.
something to do isn’t it!
spent a long time polishing a little copper watering can too. I spotted an article on line “50 gifts for the gardener in your life”. And one of the 50 gifts was a copper watering can at

Good morning the sun is out and blue sky's above, don't know the temperature yet but if its cold just now it will heat up, seems to be working faster now, the Vine not me I think I am slowing down a bit maybe I need an upgrade as well, enjoy the day, and remember a smile travels more than 2 metresit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Good morning all
Hope you had a lovely anniversary Flo.
Great pic Farendwoman , you've been busy.
Morning Rary.
Lovely and sunny and quite a frost (-2.3 in the gh) , plants all look shocked even the Rose's. Have opened the gh and moved almost everything outside, itl take me longer to get them all back in no doubt. Am going to get ny runners and sunflowers outside somewhere too today (from the house) , maybe even the tomato plants . Due to be cloudy most of the day but it isnt windy for a change.
Today will be pottering in the garden, and dog walks.
Have a lovely day whatever you do.Last edited by Containergardener; 14-05-2020, 08:02 AM.Northern England.

Morning all. Sorry if I missed anyones birthday or anniversary but its been hard logging on. Hopefully when I uncover my plants in greenhouse they will be ok after last nights frost. From what I can see of the weather forecast I should be safe leaving them uncovered tonight.
Birds outside seem to be getting hungrier as the food I put out disappears very quickly?

Morning, guys. Mr Snoop is keeping me on an even keel this morning, supplying me with toast and peanut butter and a really milky coffee for breakfast. Otherwise this morning's post would have been a litany of mini rants. And that's no good for anyone.
Will try and buck my ideas up and drop in later. Meanwhile, have a good day everyone. And thanks for all the smiles, Rary.

Mornin n'alln'all
good to see everyone's posts this morning.
Having a bit of a late start for a change....and why not eh?
Looks like we have escaped forecasted frosts so far which I'm glad about although we seem to have rather large amounts of greenfly already this year -mostly on the kale and plum trees at the moment.
I'm looking forward to going out later - we need chook food soon so hopefully I'll be able to 'accidentally' buy some potting compost, plants and goodness know what else.....
see ya later!

Morning , just popping in to say hello, hope you are all well! Enjoy the trip out Nicos! I’m shielding so can’t go out until end of June unless for medical reasons. I’m so looking forward to getting back down to Ayrshire, missing getting down for the weekend.
Hope you all enjoy your day. xsigpic
