Look after yourself rary....somethings really can wait...honestly
Had a good day - collected the new router-had to return the old one and collect it from a shop 16 miles away! And it's now up and running
My new (second hand) phone is also up and running too.
The electrician has finished Stage 1 of the work so we can now get on with insulating the wall with hemp and lime.
Have to say though that I'm exhausted. Yesterday I nipped out to buy electrical 'stuff' and after about 30 mins of wandering around various shops I suddenly realised my cardi was on inside out!!! Yup -seams and labels most definitely on show!
Then today...could I find said cardi... nope....so I put another one on instead...then after a few minutes of being in the car I realised there was something very odd....I'd put the second cardi ontop of the one I had been looking for
Thanks bramble and I also hope she recovers soon, all this housework and cooking is getting a bit much, and she has an uncanny ability to know what I haven't washed, dusted, polished, I made a mistake of putting a TV into the bedroom for her 3 weeks ago and I am sure she has a cctv camera tuned into it, but I can't find the camera
I know the feeling rary, my wife is on crutches with a swollen sprained left ankle and a fractured right tibia. I seem to be doing everything but never the right way.

Thanks for the first part Nicos, could you do me a favour and phone my OH and tell her that, after all you have a phone that works now
As for the second part you have it all wrong, you are making a fashion statement, and protecting the planet, by doing this you get twice as long between washes
At least that's what I tell OH when I do that
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
Well...so far this morning I've not done anything spectacularly crazy (apart from come onto the Vine)
I am going to take things a bit easier -you're right. Today will be rubbing down and painting a window .
We have a friend coming over in a sec with a big bag of 'English 'food he's brought over. So..no doubt there will be coffee, cakes and a bit of chinwagging for an hour or so!
Stuff like Atora, Wholemeal flour, Birds Custard powder, various kinds of porridge oats. Things you can't get here!...and nope...I hadn't asked for marmite so it's guaranteed I'm deffo going to want some of that again in the near future eh?
Later on an artisan is coming over to quote on fitting the floor, so that's one job less for us to do....unless it's stupidly expensive
Anyway, first things first....who fancies a cuppa?

A bad night with my back, so didn't get much sleep and cream crackered already Just as the weather has cleared, a bright sunshiney morning out there, so I might have got some work done on the plot. oh well...
Mollycat is charging round the garden full of the joys of spring, lovely to see - she's spent the last few days under the duvet I'll try a wander up to get the paper in a bit, see what my legs think about that, before deciding what else will get done
Morning all. Tired today as started tidying/clearing children's craft/games area last night which had turned into a mountain of random c***, and took a lot longer than I'd hoped, but at least it's ok now.
Youngest having a friend round today while his mum sees vicar about her wedding, Mr HH taking eldest climbing on sea cliffs.
Will use time in house to go through more cupboards etc clearing junk before school and work start again Monday. Have a good day all, and good luck with floor quote Nicos
Another grey day, due to last all day. Two dogs curled up by my feet on a cot mattress turned into a dog bed, the third dog in a beanbag. So they're comfy at least.
Mr Snoop off into the village. Me, I'm about to light the fire and get nice and warm.
Hope you all have lovely days. And no overdoing things guys, especially if it's because a partner is crocked. You can't do two people's jobs.
Afternoon!
Darn...looks like my hotmail on the phone isn't working /set up properly...so said friend didn't get shopping list!
Ah Well...maybe just as well, it'll probably mean the diet will start earlier
Tis a beautifully sunny day here. I noticed one of the houses in the village had a huuuuge border full of English marigolds in full flower. Very strange to see. One really heavy frost and they will probably all be gone. As these are self seeded from last year's plants I suspect there would be no seeds left to germinate later in in the Spring. Time will tell.
Just waiting now for the floor quote.
And nope...still not got my car back.
I've decided to leave our Xmas decorations up until 12night which apparently is either Sunday or Monday. Monday it is then.
They'll all need a good dusting before being packed away-everything is so dusty with all the building work going on!!!

I thought there was summat wrong with my computer screen until I realised that annoying advert at the bottom of the page had vanished giving me more screen to view.
I have a clump of dwarf bamboo to transplant as it is getting swamped by a huge Phormium in my garden. It had a huge rootball when I planted it so hopefully I can lift and possibly split it in two.
We shall see.
