Good evening it has been a wet blustery day today and as the wind is still blowing I won't be going near the greenhouse tonight, we actually went shopping then called in at our friend's, as I have said before they talk to one another every day on the phone yet still find things to talk about and it is nonstop, I think it helped her a bit to get out though she has slept for the past hour, if she doesn't pick up a bit tomorrow she is going back to the doctors whither she wants to or not, (and no I am no feart to put that on here after all she won't see it) Well keep safe and healthy and I hope you have better weather than what we are getting just nowit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Evening all. Hope Mrs Rary perks up tomorrow.
Can hear next doors dogs howling as I'm lying in bed....
Managed to do some work this morning before the rain kicked in. Youngest humph had swimming lesson after school, and as the main pool was public swimming eldest humph and I had a swim as well. With the ballet on a Monday and karate with small humphs on a Thursday (I'd have to wait for them anyway, and as it's adults and children together I thought I may as well join in), I'm dangerously close to having a regular exercise regime
Busy day tomorrow, climbing then octopush for eldest, and youngest trying Beavers.
Hoping to tidy gh at the weekend, and maybe sow some seeds. Going past a (rather expensive) garden centre tomorrow. Need some twine so shall pop in and see if there's any I don't need a new mortgage for.
Night grapes, (although I'm starting to turn into a raisin)
P.s. glad you had a good birthday VC xLast edited by happyhumph; 07-01-2020, 11:49 PM.Another happy Nutter...

Sleep tight, Cariann. Morning, FF and everyone else.
Had a really good night's sleep and woke up feeling a lot better than the last few days. Meeting the builder has stopped me going over all that time and time again in my head. Done and dusted now, so patiently waiting for spring and warmer weather.
Busy day ahead, as per. Work, one more bill, sort out my quarterly VAT return and try not to spend any money on kitchenware in the online sale at my favourite shop for such items (not Amazon, in this case).
Have a good day, everyone. Catch you later.

Mornin n'alln'all
*tiptoes past Carrieann's room
Fine drizzle here (what I call Lakeland Drizzle from the days I used to go hillwalking there)
Well, that pile of chips the other night clearly hit my conscience...the diet has deffo started!
I'm also going to try and do the overnight fasting bit too. Not meaning midnight feasts , but stopping consuming any calories at all for at least 12hrs but preferably up to 15hrs.
Means eating earlier in the evening with not snacking later and a later breakfast, but it's doable.
Rary...do push to get yr Mrs sorted...she must be getting fed up with all that too.
Still no car getting fed up now )
More painting today for me.
See ya later peeps."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Mornin all. Just waiting for a log delivery which will keep me gainfully employed barrowing it 50 Metres to the top of the garden. 27 barrow loads last time, I wonder how many this time?
The SKY person is supposed to be coming between 8 and 1 to fit the dish and hook us up as well. What will be a bit of a pain is swapping the dogs from room to room to stop them savaging him/her.
Must go, logs have just arrived, take care peeps and I hope that wind last night hasn;t done any damage in your area.My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Nicos have you tried the 5-2 diet that's supposed to be doable and theres lots of recipes on line, some of the soups sound good.Last edited by Bren In Pots; 08-01-2020, 09:29 AM.Location....East Midlands.

If I were a horse, I'd be called a 'good do-er' meaning I don't need much food to maintain my weight/condition.
One of my main hobbies is eating ( OHs main hobby is cooking and he's really , really good at it ( winning completions etc in the past) which doesn't help ) so I need to have something very focussed for a short time to drop the weight, then maintain for a while.
Hence the Fast 800 Diet ...it worked really, really well last year so I'm happy to give it a bash again to lose what I've put on , then drop a bit more, then maintain for a while.
I also like the diet cos it's created by Dr Michael Moseley and he follows it himself and I've always respected his health research programmes in the past.
My psychology of dieting is to do something very very different. Soup to me means a big slab of crispy fresh bread to go with it I'd feel cheated without that
Everyone to their own and I love sharing info /facts/ recipes, so I'll go and check out those recipes again!.thanks for the heads up on that Bren
Part of the fun of life is to enjoy eating eh?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
