Good evening, a wet day today with heavy showers and hail, though not the flooding that other areas are getting, no doubt there will be a lot gardens and allotments damaged but remember that's not as bad as having your home flooded and nice to see people are contributing to help others, well need to get to bed as I have the boy's in the morning, keep safe, keep warm and smileit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Now I am retired , I don't need a daytime nap as I lead a more leisurely life. A benefit of retirement is that I go to bed when I want and get up when I want. I can be more 'seasonal' now and get up earlier when its light as the year progresses. My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Good morning.
It's cold outside and right now it's raining.
More domestics unless the weather improves.
Have a good day all and stay safe and warm.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Well, I didn't have my afternoon nap yesterday, call it what you will. In fact, in this house we don't call it a siesta or nap or kip or forty winks or, as the locals would have it, a siestecita (a short siesta) or migdiada (middle-of-the-daytime, taken to mean a nap). We call it a farny (after dolce far niente - sweet doing nothing). I think that's enough brackets, so time to move on.
Feeling a bit headachy today, clearly due to a lack of sleep.
Mr Snoop has taken our ancient Samurai (vehicle, not warrior) in for its annual MOT. We know it will fail. Rear lights were working fine till he decided he would do the people at the testing station a favour and knock off a load of dry mud clinging round the back of the car. No time to fix the lights before the test, so he'll have to do it afterwards.
Not much other excitement and still no news from Captn Crackoff about Jessie, which would have brightened this distinctly chilly day. Though I must say your story about your mum, VC, was a good one.
Catch you later, guys. Meanwhile, have a good one.
