  • Mornings!
It's grey, damp and the wind has got up again - good job the greenhouse is still clamped shut
Another indoor day then *sigh* I've got a list of jobs to get on with, but nothing I fancy doing IYKWIM...

Have a good weekend whatever you're up to

        • Good morning all.
          Dry, bright and breezy.
Off to play pitch and putt shortly.
It will be challenging on a breezy day like this but good to be out.
          Have a nice day all.

              • Evening all, well it's wild and windy again, it did try to snow but didn't come to anything, had a tidy up in the greenhouse, 2 window boxes full of French strawberries will need re potting this year as there's not a lot of compost for goodness. So dead bits removed and a water just to get them out of the dormant stage, I like a bit of green new growth just so I know which ones are alive. Tucked up in fleece again as frost still forecast.

                • Well, we've had a few snow flurries but nothing lying, in fact it's been a typical scottish day with virtually all kinds of weather included.

Only time I went out was to rescue a big cardboard box that was blowing about causing a hazard on the street and of course there was a snow flurry after I went out without a jacket on. Typical

                  • Good evening, a lot of blustery showers today, OH wanted to go for some clothes for the holidays this morning so she decided we would go to Glasgow via a garden centre where we would have our breakfast (2 for1) so I had a slice of toast and a cup of tea, instead of my usual porridge, went out to the greenhouse for a quick check then fed the birds, went back in the house and OH is having a bowl of cereal, when I said about it I was told she had only taken it so she cold take her antibiotics, I wish I had thought of that had our breakfast then some shopping and then back home, there were some strong gusts of wind and yet some drivers still couldn't take their foot of the accelerator, I hope when they learn a bit of sense its not at someone else's expense, well that my moan finished, I am off to read a book for a time as my son and his family are out at a party and I am the taxi driver so won't be in bed for a while, keep warm and safe, and try and get out early tomorrow and beat the oll yin to the yellow stickers, I am just wondering if those tomatoes she got are suitable for saving seed, if they are I wonder if she would send me some
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

                          • Happy Sunday That's the good news.
The olive tree in the front garden has blown down and is "sleeping" on the drive. - That's the bad news.
When the wind drops and the rain eases and its sunshiny again, I'll see if I can wake Olive from her slumbers. Lazy old thing (Olive, not me!!).

                            • Morning, all.

Bright blue here, but another hard frost in the night. Another couple of days of this and then it's going to get cloudy and very windy, apparently.

Went through my seed boxes with a couple of friends on Friday. Turns out that I do actually need to buy some seeds. Which is a very big (and welcome) surprise.

I've been a bit slow doing the social media rounds this morning, so better step on it.

                              Have a good one, everyone.

Sunny and bright here this morning and the wind has died down.
Off to mass shortly and then an afternoon to watch the rugby.
                                Have a good day all.
