  • Good evening!

Sunday is to be weigh in day, 7lbs off - all water weight. But more importantly I havent had to take my asthma medication since I started.

Little relaxing, little walk with the family, little fishing- standard weekend stuff!

Sounds like you've all had busy weekends!
We did loads more on the lounge -me, mostly painting which wasn't tiring.
Today the few decorations we have up come down. I'll miss them, but it's time to move on.

Well done with your weight loss Captn...I'll have my first weigh in today, but I'll just work on reducing volumes this week and cut out booze completely from now on -so I'm not expecting much weight loss over the coming week...just 'getting into the zone' if you know what I mean.

I need to chase up my car today - let's hope everything is sorted!
My iPad has started to play up a bit so , not being technical () I asked OH to look into it only to find that it's can't be upgraded anymore(if that's the right word!) as it's too old!
I think I've had my fair share of techno problems for the whole year already!

Time for a brew methinks....and let Hibou out before she goes mental

          • Morning Nicos et al..

I'm allowed spirits, dry wines and low carb lagers on my diet..

My initial loss is just water, when I ditch the processed carbs i just wee for England until all the excess water is gone. I read somewhere the body stores 3g of water for every 1g of carbs you eat, to process it into glucose.. dont quote me on that though!

            • Just got off the scales...

Fair enough...I did very much enjoy consuming it all
I read somewhere(don't quote me either though ) that if you have 500 cals per day more than you actually need to hold your weight that by the end of the week you will have put on 1lb.
I'm eventually going to do the Michael Moseley Fast 800 diet again. It's very tough but it's the only one which seems to work well for me.

              Anyone else dieting/cutting back?

              • Mornings!
Nicos, I'm back on only eating between 11am and 7pm and once the shock of that is over, will slowly cut down on bread as well - which is always my downfall. I looked at making keto bread but it is so expensive to make or buy...
My back was better last year when I was lighter, so needs must....

I'm fed up with wearing only the clothes that don't need ironing, so I'm gonna bite the bullet and actually do some

                Have a good'un

                • Morning, guys.

Bright blue but so very, very cold here.

Woke up this morning thinking it's time to cut down on consumption. Not sure how, though. Mr Snoop is making me some buttered toast... I'll start by cutting down on alcohol too and start cutting portion size too. More veg, less meat and fat. Bye bye cheese... Just not yet as there's still a load in the fridge.

                  Have a great day, everyone.

                  • Good morning all.
                    A dull dark, wet morning.
I will be spending most of the day taking the decorations down.
Looking forward to putting the house back together again.
Christmas has gone on long enough.
                    Have a good day all.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                              • To make you laugh!!

Last night, on a local FB thread, I "met" a girl I was in High school with, many years ago - and haven't come across since.

                                This is what she said
" Also remember your essay about a bull & the tomato sticking on his horn."

I couldn't stop laughing when I read this, what on earth was that essay about? I'm afraid to ask her in case it proves that I've always been nuts.
Maybe its a sign that i should grow some Bull's Horn tomatoes this year?
