Good evening and thanks for the good wishes for OH lottie, and Flo we got a q box about 6 weeks a go and OH hogs the controller I even put a TV into the bedroom for her with one of the mini boxes with a separate controller and yet I have needed to go to the bedroom for the one for the living room several times, she's as bad as a teenager with a phone
Nicos it's nice to see you are economising with a bit of practice you should be able to get three cups out of a tea bag well for bed early as I need to take one of my grandsons to a hospital appointment tomorrow morning, remember to keep a smile handy. Goodnight

It's a lovely sunny but cold start to the day.
Lifts the heart a bit of sunshine doesn't it?
It's funny, but we have some musician friends and they love playing Irish music and one evening they asked OH if he could play the bodrum-so he had a go. Turns out he's a total natural!
So, last night he was asked to join then in a casual pub Irish evening.
Very proud of him
(And yes...both of our great grandparents were Irish)
Off to a woodyard finally. Not been to this one before so fingers crossed they have more stock undercover

Everything aches this morning, but the wheels for the greenhouse door are here now, so if it stays dry it is sunny atm, but the sky is black in the SW I'll try to fix the greenhouse..

Lashing rain and blowing a gale with it.
Making a batch of soup this morning.
Looking after the grandson this afternoon.
That's the day spoken for because I will be shattered by the time he goes home.
However, I wouldnt have it any other way.

Morning all,sunny day so far,supposed to be rain later on,nothing professional about my cooking,2 cakes,slap together with butter cream,same on top,plus,the bits that get left in the tins from baking,instead of eating them,humhum,sprinkle on the top for decor,i have now been swapped to Linux cinnamon,just gota get used to it,bit by bit,so glad i not got windows 10,hope you get the greenhouse fixed,mine also needs sorting out,it is in the queue,stay safe Bramble and who else is being battered by weather system,have a good day,i am off to play

Afternoon all. What a waste of a morning. All I've done is online admin. Gah!

Anyway, just dropping in to say hello. Bright blue here today but bad weather about to be unleashed over the weekend and next week. Could be our first significant snowfall for years. Last time it was as bad as is forecast, loads of trees were brought down by the weight of snow. Trouble is, I'm due to fly back to Britain on Thursday. Hope we don't get cut off.

Not much other news, so better get on with the paid work. Have a lovely afternoon, everyone.

So far I can only find Coconut, ginger and turmeric or Clipper Orange and Coconut Tea *puzzled* perhaps they were reduced because they aren't making them now?

I offered opportunity out Nicos but there were no takers - they even came back from a car boot sale! Three years worth went to people at work and I've kept last year

MR saw the stroke nurse this afternoon,all the vitals as they say are good,we had a good chat,upshot is see DR about the memory clinic,plus it would be better to move more,hum,hum,hum,i hate it when he gets angry with me an account of frustration,says he cannot do,when he CAN try if wanted,he getting worse,like he has convinced himself he cannot,so will not,there is no guarantee doing exercise will help him retrain a bit of brain,it is hard for me to judge,as he thinks he being bullied,at least off spring is better balanced just now,until the magnum rises,it's when i get both of them together that knocks me of the perch,but life is what it is,just squeak,moan and get on with it,i am under NO illusions what is possiblely around the corner,will be 4years come March,oh by the way,we also got got caught for the flue jab hehehehe,Bgood2yrselves,you never know whats round that corner.
